Absolutely love the snowman @Narc0lepsy ⛄️ Will show my mum later, she’ll love it too ☺️
Have been encouraging her to continue knitting even if she’s not as speedy as before as she’d lost her mojo with it when her sister passed away last year..
@kazmeister I do hope that everything will be ok for your Pa, the NHS do seem to be on the ball with certain things at the moment, my hubby his 2 children and 3 of our friends have all been seen by a GP and then had a colonoscopy within 2 weeks during this year, thankfully nothing serious in for any of them!Deep cleaned the bathroom yesterday, scrubbed the tiles and even vinegared the shower head 😱
Also cleaned out under the stairs as needed a home for my new (to me) instant pot..
Today is tip day with various large cardboard and detritus that’s been sat in the garage for far too long!
Hope everyone has the kind of day they want/need 💗"There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇

Morning all, Last day of work for me until January, so it's going to be a busy one.
My list for today
Do paid stuff
Do uni stuff (just tidying up notes from this semester)
Update Mr T order for delivery tomorrow
Update banking and check dds
Laundry x 2 loads
Take DD to her tutor
Take DD to the stables so she can check on and feed her pony
Sort out budgets for the next 12 months
I think that is everything that I need to tackle today. I hope everyone has a lovely Friday.6 -
Morning all.
WM x 2, TD x 1, second load is on the line and blowing (towels) so I am optimistic it will dry.
Yesterday I cleaned my bedroom and cleared stuff out - It's the room which takes longest to clean as there is lots to shift and dust. Cleaned the windows but the sun is shining on them today and they look streaky so I might give them another go later.
As it's a dry day and I can put the mats etc outside I will crack on with the kitchen shortly.

Another one loving the snowman, Narc0.
Have a good trip, HB. Every year we intend to do the same trip but get distracted and never quite settle on where to stay over. It is in my plan for 2026, just need to get it into DH’s plan too.
What a difference a day makes. It seems that I can only really fly when the sun is shining🙄. Not much hope for me in the coming months then 🤣. Plus we are down to just the decorator and he is in the hall, not on the stairs or landing which makes life easier. So today I have emptied the dw, wm x 1, cleaned bathroom and ensuite, vacuumed both plus the bedroom and spare room. I have also cleaned the landing blinds, so they can go back up. DR dusted, windows sort of cleaned as they were smeary, still need to vacuum in there. Mr M delivered last night, just one substitution which was a result. The fridge is now crammed, which is less than ideal, but what can just be kept cool is in the garage. I have made a list so I don’t forget what is there!
DH is out later (taxi service required…) and DD is working this evening, so I will be home alone and queen of the remote.7 -
One of the flower arrangement's I did for my friend's funeral https://flic.kr/p/2rMCGoa
Tomorrow we will add bling, cones and make them Christmassy for the carol service on Sunday - she loved Christmas and her birthday is in 2 days time.
- one load washing on
- Pilates done
- aqua aerobics done
- hand delivered 2 local cards on the way home
- gone through Mum's and my own card list and everything finally crossed off, including e-cards
- started gathering ingredients for Christmas pudding which I will make tomorrow and freeze
- wrote list of what's left to do
- wrote list of what to remember to take down to BIL
Now off to zumba although I feel fairly drained today!Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
It's tough getting rid of the past but it does free up space for the future.7 -
Beautiful flowers for Gill, Narco
I have just had a nap...wore myself out by cleaning the kitchen to full level 3 and with the doors open the floor dried in quick time. Kitchen looks much better. Towels dried on the line to almost bone dry so are now on a maiden, airing.
In between I have also been wrapping gifts and liberally applying ribbon. I have used up about three 'cops' (for thus are they labelled). *fling*. I've also finished off a tube of handcream *fling* so that has gone into DD's basket for recycling at B00ts.
And I'm now wearing an under eye mask and goodness knows how long I've had these.

Basics cleaning wise for me over the weekend.. did prep a hefty amount of veg yesterday that’s either been portioned, bagged and frozen or made into various things.. Also cleared a space in the garage to store our potatoes & sprouts..
Body not co-operating kindly today so a sloth style day it shall be..
Hopes for a good weekend for all 💗"There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇

Morning all, It's my first day off work so time to try and get this house sorted in time for festivities, therefore it will be a busy day of flying and being a taxi for DD.
My list for today
Take DD to her riding lesson.
Clean out the fridge before Mr T delivery
Deal with Mr T delivery
Update the festive food cupboard and see what still needs to be ordered.
Make a start on wrapping presents
Laundry x2 loads
Ask DH to check what size of washer we need for the bathroom tap
Dust the living room
Tidy clutter away that is in the living room
Put another string up for the cards
Get DS to try on clothes that a friend handed in for him (they are ones that her child is too big for, so DS can have them, or they will go on V after the holidays.
Hoover the living room
Hoover the hall
Take DD to the stables so she can check on and feed her pony.
I think that is everything that I need to tackle today. I hope everyone has a lovely Saturday/weekend.

Morning all
The promised sunny spells/breeze haven't materialised so the bedding I deliberately washed to take advantage of it hasn't been pegged out. New vertical blind louvres for DR have been delivered - this time they fit! So 30 louvres have been hung, had weights inserted and have had the 'chain' attached. Order came earlier than expected so v. pleased about that.
Another gift has been wrapped, logged and put away. Almost done with them!
I want to clean bathroom, DR and LR today. I also want to go the the new pet store and take advantage of the £10 off a £30 spend voucher. It will go on catfood and, I hope, a new scratch post.

I seem to have been on the go ever since I woke up this morning! - but in reality there appears to be very little to show for all this activity:
- emptied my shredder bin and replaced the plastic bag that ought to have been in there (easier to carry downstairs than the bin)
- checked emails and am expecting one parcel from the jungle and another from Dreaded Parcel Deliveries today
- also started to work through DS1's extensive Christmas wish list, to see what I can afford to buy him - but it will be for Christmas and past November birthday combined, so a bit easier
- prepped butternut squash, carrot and red pepper soup for lunch, enough to include a portion for NNDN's freezer
- prepped and started a beef stew in the SC, to be portioned up for our freezer
- gave the plant in the hanging pot a haircut and some water
- S&S'd the kitchen
- got an unopened packet of muesli down from the high shelf to take round to NNDN whose supply is running out
- found foil trays and a water bottle in the bottom of a cupboard which were just cluttering up my space, so out they will go to the CS
- removed from the top of the bookcase in the LR a dark green potted plant - which 2 or 3 years ago was part of the annual basket of birthday/anniversary/Christmas flowers from my friend - and replaced it with a nicer, smaller and slightly variegated plant and (separately potted up) a harts-tongue fern and a kalanchoe, all from this year's basket. The accompanying mini-roses, cyclamen and azalea all finished blooming and were decluttered more than a week ago
- sorted a few bits of paperwork off my desk
- changed DH's dressings on his badly swollen and red-raw leg and helped him put on the support stockings (thankfully only knee-high).
Yesterday DH and I left Rosie at home (she had already had her walk with L) and went here for lunch and a self-guided tour of the big house's Christmas decorations, which are beautiful and absolutely spectacular to the extent of being almost OTT. Definitely worth the drive! It was a lovely sunny day, and this morning has been much the same. Of course, now that I'm ready to take Rosie out and deliver some cards by hand, the sun has disappeared, but hopefully it will be back.
Hope you all have a good weekend and manage to put your feet up at some point xxx
