Hello and Merry Christmas to you all!
Please may I join this challenge? I love savings challenges (as you can see from my signature, I already do a few!) and I love this idea and keeping a note to see how much I can make in 2026!
Here's to some super saving!

Just thought I'd mention for the benefit of those doing this challenge that @OwnedByACat has just compiled and launched a list of cashback offers for savings/investment accounts, see the thread below:
The Cashback for Bank or Investment Accounts Discussion Thread
These offers are an excellent way to add a bit of money to your totals so worth having a look at if you haven't done so already.5 -
Please may I join this club?
I used to like the £10 a day challenge (although never managed it!) but that seems to have died a death.

Just bookmarked, although I've been doing most of them for yonks when available which is why I exhausted all bank switch / new account opening Cashbacks by the beginning of 2025, except for the recent Santander CB offers which were completed when they became available, but sometimes learning a new backdoor trick or two can be very useful - Thanks for posting!Bridlington1 said:Just thought I'd mention for the benefit of those doing this challenge that @OwnedByACat has just compiled and launched a list of cashback offers for savings/investment accounts, see the thread below:

Thank you so much, I_Love_comps!
I've made a list of all the ways I currently try to make a little extra - please may I ask if we can count Premium Bond prizes alongside interest from bank accounts? I'd love any other tips too!

Iceland bonus card only gives us savings not making anything. So that won't count @CazzieLT.I am a Senior Ambassador on the Competitions Time Board and the Old Style MoneySaving Board.

@ CazzieLT - Do you use TopCashback (TCB)? - Cashback for online purchases for almost everything including opening a new bank account & bank switches
There's also Quidco similar to TCB with a sign up bonus at times. I hope you use either or both of these
