At no point have I, as you suggest, tried to “put people off” taking this offer.friolento said:
See my earlier response to your first assertion that people should have reason to expect not to get the promised vouchers or cashback. There is still no evidence that this ever happened to anyone who was entitled according to the T&Cs, so unless you can furnish proof, may be it would be best if you stopped trying to put off people, particularly since there is no financial cost to any of us.amyfairweather said:It was a suggestion to check the T&C very carefully, as Santander have a history of trying to wriggle out of what they have promised/advertised.Also, please don’t attempt to confuse the offer discussed in this thread with something entirely unrelated.
I simply offered the following advice, quote - “Make sure to check the T&C with a fine-tooth comb. Santander have history of advertising something is free and then reneging because it’s not specifically mentioned in the small print.”
I then repeated that - “It was a suggestion to check the T&C very carefully, as Santander have a history of trying to wriggle out of what they have promised/advertised.”
The aim being to make others aware of the tricks Santander use to get out of what they have previously promised.
If you wish to ignore that and plod on regardless, on your head be it.0 -
But this thread isn't about a Santander offer. But you can, of course, ignore that point!amyfairweather said:

A quick reminder that one of the terms of this offer is that the savings account you opened must have a balance of £100 or more on 31st December 2025 and continue to hold a balance of £100 or more on 31st January 2026.
The terms just say that your £100+ has to be in your account on 31st December 2025, so I think it's probably OK to move your £100 in there tomorrow.
To be on the safe side I will be depositing my £100 into my account tonight to ensure that it is there for the whole of the 31st December 2025 and will be leaving it there until the early hours of 1st February 2026.

We're well and truly past 31st Jan, but still no Amazon vouchers. Any idea when to expect them?
I received an earlier one (£30 with their Everyday Current Account, through the same third party, 'VoucherSent') just about 5 weeks after opening, back in November.

The 2 weeks beginning 24th March.

Today is the start of VoucherSent fortnight for this offer.
If you registered with VoucherSent and opened your Santander savings account in the same session with cookies enabled, and assuming you fulfilled the conditions of the offer (e.g. depositing £100+ into the account and leaving it there during the relevant dates), you should be receiving an email from VoucherSent (noreply@vouchersent.com) within the next 2 weeks inviting you to claim your Amazon gift card.
