This challenge is whatever you want it to be - you can use it to track savings for property, actual overpayments, or whatever motivates you! You're more than welcome to keep tracking your overpayments from the autumn onwards, either under your existing number or under a new one, whatever works best for you.

A very happy #38 here with a July total payment of £909.91. This payment is my final overpayment as I am so pleased to say that I have now paid off my mortage and I am mortgage free!!!
Over the past 10 years I have really saved hard and put any extra money aside to the 'overpayment' fund and it has worked! I have paid off the mortgage approx 9 years earlier than anticipated :-)
Keep going people, every little really does make a difference. Thanks to @julicorn for running the challenge and to everyone for keeping me motivated.
I'd love to keep my number and participate again in 2027 as a savings challenge if thats ok?
