New Capita-run Civil Service Pension Scheme - problems (what a surprise!)

Following on from my earlier post in this forum I am still no further forward with my pension claim, applied in October 2025,retired in January 2026,no payment of any kind as yet or indeed any idea of when I will receive it!
I was wondering if anyone in a similar position to myself has actually received their lump sum and pension. I am aware of the statement on the portal from the task force (Angela Mcdonald) which states anyone who has had applied and received a quote will have the lump sum part paid by the end of February 2026.
I personally don't have any faith in this claim but who knows?

They'll need to get a move on then 🙄

Just in case serving Civil Servants with no immediate plans to retire were worried they would miss out on all the Crapita fun:
Wonder how things will go with payroll?

Well it didn't seem to start well when they started doing the payroll element of civil service pensions.

Been trying to register on the new provider system. Very small pension due to me in 3 months time. I get as far as the mobile number authentication but it never sends the text message.

I'm fortunate not to be in the position of those who are not getting their hard earned pension payments, but if I was, I honestly think that I might be at the point of considering travelling to Capita's premises and making a non-aggressive nuisance of myself.

I retired in early December 2025 and I’m still waiting for my pension and lump sum.
I saw the post above regarding the task force statement and its promise to pay out lump sums for qualifying people in Feb 2026. I‘m assuming I meet those criteria but it seems not much hope of payout if I do indeed qualify and as its now near the end of February - surprise me Capita I dare you (please).

I live near their Darlington site and is exactly my plan! I've claimed pension for June (recently giving them the required 4 months notice via recorded delivery…for what it's worth).

Good for you! I sincerely hope you don’t have any delays, but if you do, maybe try to find some other local disgruntled CS pensioners to join you? Get the local paper involved?

Who knows, for Mr Bates versus the Post Office, read Mr Logan versus Capita and The Cabinet Office.
