At one of the events I went to last week, a woman had pinned all sorts of Christmasy pins on a sweatshirt she already had instead of buying a new sweater. It worked very well.9

It's been my annual Christmas shopping day with DD and now with her DD too. As I'm still recovering for my cold and she has the baby, we just had a nice lunch in a favourite cafe, wandered round the High Street, bought a few things and headed home.
Freezer progress has been taking out some grated cheese but I've put in some sausages. Toiletries progress was more Success! perfume.
The sausages in the freezer are to go with Christmas dinner, so that's an item off the list.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

Nooo! It's a degreaser, not a lubricant. If you use it on hinges repeatedly, they get squeaky and stiff - you need some 3-in-one oil! For dry joints like door locks (or the slide on a chemical toilet in a campervan [Ugh]) you need a can of silicone spray, used sparinglyPennysIntoPounds said:

I finished off my wreath and hung it. As requested @Cherryfudge, here is a photo. A couple of last minute sprigs of eucalyptus added for a nice smell
