I haven't seen that one - if you have a link, I'd be interested. Wearing a moonstone pendant that I can’t remember when I wore last and my favourite earrings that also have moonstones in them 😊
Made a batch of Italian chocolate and hazelnut cake. Never tried this one before but if the bowl scrapings are anything to go by it’s going to be amazing! 🤩 We will have a piece each with a cuppa and the rest I will wrap and put in the freezer for Christmas 😊

Today I put baubles on the tree. It still looked a bit bald so I threw some multicoloured lametta on it. I've gone for a slightly tacky rainbow shiny look. As if a magical 80s rainbow cat threw up on my tree after eating sprinkles. I love it! Multicoloured lights, multicoloured tinsel, multicoloured baubles, multicoloured star.

Morrisons and Asda do some BF hot choc - but it is awful according to a colleague. Much better rated was Options cherry choc instant hot choc - which is half price with T3sc0 clubcardCherryfudge said:I haven't been particularly Christmassy today but have managed to stick to my Advent resolutions so we had salmon from the freezer for dinner, and some tiny home-grown tomatoes that have been ripening in the kitchen. Soooo delicious. A tiny bit more freezer space gained, though I'm saving citrus peel for Miser's Marmalade and started a new bag of it this evening - that space fights so hard to be filled.
The toiletries-of-neglect drawer yielded some very old 'Success!' perfume. I didn't think it was still made but online I can see something with different packaging but the same name. I remember my Mum, sister and I all had some. DH tells me it smells good - he knows because he put some on himself and has spent the rest of the evening regretting that it's not washing off! I still have almost no sense of smell so I will have to trust that it's okay on me.
We also remembered to go into the loft so I have more of my winter jumpers, a couple of lounging fleeces, snowflake pyjamas, some woolly scarves and a pair of gloves with robins on. It's warmed up outside so I'm not wearing the winter nightwear but funnily I had forgotten some of these favourites while they were packed away, so it was nice just having them back.
While we were out I had a gingerbread latte - very sweet but also very nice. We were chatting to someone in the shop and she reminded me about Black Forest Gateau hot chocolate so now I'm wondering if I can find that for sale over the next few weeks.I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £205 -
I did my candlelit yoga again this morning, 45 mins worth today, a good long stretch 😊
Used a voucher for a festive national trust visit and heard some lovely singing in their Chapel 😊
Also picked up a box of stuffing in the supermarket as a nod to festive preparations, although if Mr C spots it, it won't last the week out 😂7 -
Urgh, a non-festive grim OAT here - finally got round to hoovering 8 years worth of mouse droppings (and some recent rat poo) from under the kitchen cabinets 😱😱 Not going to be winning any housekeeping awards any time soon 😱😂😂
In the process I discovered that yes, as I suspected, the rat has indeed gnawed through the fridge wire 🙄 I thought Mr C had already looked and said the wire was fine so we've been assuming the fridge was just incidentally broken for about 5 weeks!
So this is a good thing - the rat seems to have disappeared of its own volition now (fingers crossed) so he can just rewire the plug and we should have a functioning fridge. !!!!!!.6 -

Love a festive rainbow cat sick inspired tree rhyddid! The more colours the better in my view! 😍

Happy very Decembery Sunday everyone!
I braved the weather to get a major OAT done and took something to small electricals recycling- not actually major in doing it but major in that I'd been putting it off for over a month. Really pleased to get that off the to-do list, especially as I'd put it in a prominent place so it would annoy me and I'd do it. This was half very successful in that it did really annoy me, for over a month 😂
Also collected a gift for mum so that's another Christmas item done.
Got a Christmas jigsaw out. Whether I'll do it is another matter but I'm enjoying seeing it and feeling festive!
This afternoon is sofa time, put on an advent necklace especially 😁
Today is costume jewellery gold three quarter moon shape pendant. It's very pretty, I just often forget I have it

Not much Xmas-ing here today - although did wrap youngest's main present at silly o'clock this morning. Will look at getting a few more ornaments out later

Outfit chosen for work tomorrow - it's bright, but no festive colours. I may add a bracelet from the jewellery box if I remember 😊I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £206 -
I got a load of presents wrapped today and a parcel posted so my reward was putting on some Christmas tunes and singing along very badly 😁6
