I am wearing my festive Christmas stockings earrings to lift my mood. Still resting, well enough to start feeling impatient today which I suppose is progress.5

Latest Advent items put out to enjoy:
Dec 5th - Mr F's Father Christmas mug & our set of robin coasters.
Dec 6th - 2 pretty tumblers - one with a robin & greenery design for me, while Mr F chose one festooned with random festive cats!
It's so nice enjoying everything gradually rather than swamping the house with everything at once & probably failing to appreciate it all.2025's challenges: 1) To fill our 10 Savings Pots to their healthiest level ever
2) To read 100 books (46/100) 3) The Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg

A million things on a million lists to do this weekend, but I am approaching them with a calm and Christmassy attitude!
Wearing a lovely green-blue wooly jumper that doesn't get enough outings, and gorgeous dark blue and silver art deco earrings.
And now work shifts are over I can wear nail polish, so have gone for a shimmery creamy gold7 -
Have really bad insomnia at the moment so cheered myself up by watching cheesy Xmas movies in the early hours
oat tackled- wrapped 3 Xmas presents today - ok it’s not a lot and I’ve many more still to go but I do not enjoy wrapping anymore and keep procrastinating so feels like an achievement
this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk8 -
I got my Christmas cards written out today and was planning on posting the ones which need to be sent rather than delivered and found I've got no 2nd class stamps so will have to wait until I go shopping on Tuesday now.
I think it was PIP who mentioned the Co-op £10 meal deal so popped in today and got that - got 2 tikka curries/rice and some fat chips plus a bottle of red. Chips have gone in the freezer as not needed at the moment the curries are long dated (6 January) so they're in the fridge to use towards the end of the month. Not sure when we'll have the wine but maybe next weekend as not drinking this weekend!9 -
OAT done: All my financial updates 😊
Also started looking at a potential forecast for OPs for 2026 - getting excited as we are finally getting some momentum now 👏
Advent indulgence: Bag of Frazzles! Yum!! 😋
KKAs at 15.12.25:

Glad you had a nice festive day with your friends @redofromstart and I'm sorry you're finding things tough. Big hugs xxx
I ordered goal planning workbooks for me and my sister for next year, and they arrived in the post today 😊 we've done these for the past few years, meeting every month for plotting and scheming. We usually buy the books as they're sold, but this year bought PDF versions and paid to have them printed - slightly cheaper and in my opinion, much better quality! Very pleased, and it'll be a job to make myself wait until I've finished work before I start filling mine in 😂😂
I've dug out my Christmas crafting books and had a happy hour with a hot water bottle and candle putting post it notes in the pages. Not going to plan anything extravagant! But I have a few things in mind for some difficult-to-buy-for people, and as top ups for others 😊
We're planning to break into a bottle of mulled wine tonight - we have several that people bought us over the last couple of years that we didn't quite keep up with 😂 so we're going to start early this year!9 -
Oh, and Mr C is on a mission deleting emails- not festive but definitely an OAT. We've been meaning to sort out his web hosting for forever (years!) but finally got round to it yesterday - we can save £570 a year by changing package 😱😱😱 He's just stayed on the one he bought 21 years ago, which of course has increased and increased in the background, and is now the most expensive package, higher than the highest one currently on sale, and equipping him with the facility for 60,000 email addresses 😱😂😂 We can reduce to £2.50 a month, but that only comes with 2gb email storage - he's not deleted an email for 21 years so is now setting to with the delete button 😂8

Sending lots of hugs and support @redofromstart, you're doing brilliantly
Blimey @Cheery_Daff, what a mission but what a saving! Mulled wine absolutely earned
Glad the coop mention was useful @joedenise
Three presents wrapped by the 6th December is definitely an achievement @mandco
Hope the insomnia gives way to sweet dreams of lovely wrapping paper 😊
And thank you everyone for all your festive updates, I really love reading what you're all wearing and doing and achieving and enjoying
Edited to update reply to @joedenise which for some reason wasn't showing!6
