@Blackcats that was a wonderful thing to do
that’s a beautiful sunrise
yesterday I used a spray of the last of an expensive perfume I’ve been keeping for a special occasion and ds said I smelt pretty
I think it’s easy to fall into that I’ll save it for later mindset then never actually use it when we should enjoy the moment while we can.Today I’m have a sort out of the toiletries stash - found a couple of new/sealed items still left over from gift sets received last Xmas so they are going in the donations box.this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk6 -
A small OAT for me today - popped to the post office to post a book I found in a charity shop for a family member which I've been meaning to post for weeks, and a ridiculous elf outfit for my sister 😂😂5

Today's advent treat for me is going to be a soak in the bath with some nice smelling bubbles while I read my book. Perfect.7

Teabag of the day is a Red Berry Sunset. Looks very pretty and smells nice.
tea towel of the day is bright red and white striped
I finally finished sewing up the jumper I knitted which is now known as the MSE Advent Jumper. It needs to be ironed through a damp towel and left to rest for 24 hours. I don't know why the jumper needs to rest as it was me that did all the knitting!
I used my bodeeshoppe cranberry crush shower gel and body yoghurt today. I'm enjoying catching a festive waft of myself when I move 😃

Ooh, I'm fond of a festive candle but I don't think I've ever had festive toiletries! 😂 Very jolly! Will keep an eye out 😃4

Was uncertain about going to pub after work even though I'd been looking forward to it, as there seems such a long list of things to do, but decided it is advent so to choose joy, put on some nice delicate silver earrings my mum got me and bought myself a couple of drinks 🥂
My OAT triumph today was finally buying a lightbulb I needed, how it can take a supposedly competent adult half a month to buy a lightbulb for a lamp that is used every day I do not know, but it has been done and I am feeling Advent OAT pleased and will enjoy having the cosy light available for December and onwards9 -
@Wednesday2000 - I think you will find some nice jewellery while you are in Brighton. Something that makes you smile 😃5

I’m loving reading all the lovely posts. Today I met some retired colleagues for lunch and wore a sparkly jumper and Christmas tree earrings. I can highly recommend a free podcast called Small ways to live well. In the latest episode they’re discussing Christmas traditions and there’s also a short Christmas story.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

A bit late to the party but enjoying reading what everyone is up to. @thriftwizard could you share how you make the tiny baskets? I am intrigued.3
