Hi all
Hope you are feeling better Jazee.
Paid stuff done for the week and I have run the hoover around upstairs. I am meeting DS1 to go shopping. DS has suggested that I park in a village between our house and his work where I can leave my car and he will pick me up and drop me off. I am fretting about finding somewhere to park, it's pouring down and very windy and I am generally working myself into a state. I also have to wait for him to confirm when we are meeting and he said probably 2pm. Should I set off now I wonder. I am sure that most rational people would not give all of this a second thought.

In which case, YL, I will join you in the irrational - but maybe not - gang. It’s Christmas light switch on in small town tonight so the high street and therfore the parking has been closed since midnight last night. I have fretted about DD going to work and getting parked. She went, couldn’t park, has parked about 20 minute walk out from town which she will now have to do at 11pm when she finishes. I offered to drop her in, but she knew best, so now I’m fretting about her getting home as well.
Back to today…I started with a list. I still have some of it left, but I have run wm x 1 and got the load dried outside in the (chilly) wind, run the vacuum cleaner around DD’s room, the spare room and the landing, written all the cards which need posting, including the flylady cards. Fingers crossed they will get posted tomorrow morning. I think that is it. Oh no, how could I forget - I did a couple of hours admin this morning. That’s where my day went, then.

It's been mostly a day of keeping on top of admin.
booked my dad's home visit optician appointment
booked cat into cattery ready for our next holiday
money shuffle done ready for December's bills
did a bank account switch for MrBC which will earn us £215 if it all goes through
wrapped up 2 vin ted parcels and posted them
a birthday present and a Christmas present have been wrapped
the washing got fairly dry outside today and is finishing off on the airer
tidied and cleaned the bathroom cupboard - found some toiletries to use up which will save some money

Evening All,
Haven't done much today, put curry in the SC to go in the freezer. Also made up some over-night porridge oats for the week which are in the fridge.
Had the doctors re my back and basically he's told me to carry on with the paracetamol and prescribed me a stronger ibuprofen gel. Showed me exercises to do and told me to book in for physio (is that spelt right?). I'm not sure how I'm supposed to do the exercises when it kills me to get up and down from the floor.
Tried to make the physio appointment while I was there and got told to phone back next week.
Came home, s/s round the kitchen and cleaned/ rearranged the fridge. Put the washing away and wrote my Christmas card list.
I need some advice, what do you all use to descale your kettles? My kettle isn't too scaled but I've tried 2 different products, 1 a liquid and the other a tablet but neither have done much.
Also I have some black mould on the rubber seal round my hallway window. I've tried white vinegar and I've tried a spray for black mould but nothing have happened. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thank you in advance5 -
I boil the kettle with a bit of vinegar (any kind) in it. May take a couple of boils, but it does get the scale off.8

Hello folks. Yes YSL, thanks I am better now. And I'm another who gets anxious about parking etc. Tomorrow I'm helping at an event in the next village and know that parking will b3 a nightmare so it's already whirring round my head.
Anyway, today I've done two work shifts, two wash loads, two walks (one with the dog, another to the post office), dailies and admin. As it's payday I've finished doing our Xmas shopping on line.Spend less now, work less later.6 -

Morning all xx
I'm savouring my leisurely morning after four days having to be up and on to get to the paid stuff for 8.30. Yellow weather warning for the area says rain all day. It's tipping down and very grey. Still got the light on.
I've made my bed. I've taken my meds and turned over the calendars. I completed Strands with no hints, completed Wordle in four, and completed Connections with no lives lost. I've eaten breakfast and I'm supping my second brew.
I'll write my Saturdailies list plus extras to do this weekend, then make a start.
Have a good day.

Morning all, it's another cold start to the day here.
Does anyone know anywhere online that I can order a photobook?, I'm looking to put DSs photos into a photobook from his show production this year.
My list for today
Take DD to her horse riding lesson
Write up uni notes from this week
Sort through the diary from November
Remember to take meds
Clean laptop
Deal with Mr T deliver
Do some festive shopping online - Thanks for the recommendations, I have now ordered the photobook for DS and festive jumpers.
Cobweb removal downstairs
Wipe down the front of the kitchen cupboards
Remind DH to look for the Elf - he started looking yesterday, but we need to find him for tomorrow night. Work in progress: DH is looking while I get on with other tasks.
Fill DW and switch it on
Clean the clutter from the top of the drawers in the master bedroom
Sort out the kitchen cupboard for storing festive food and update the festive shopping list with items already got.
Add 10 items to V account
Take DD to the stables so she can feed and check on her pony
I think that is everything that I need to tackle today. I hope everyone has a lovely Saturday/weekend.
