Me again.

From the list I have tackled the living room and hall.  Windows cleaned, coats and shoes sorted, above eye level dusting done with stick duster, below eye level everything has been damp dusted, and I've swept the floors.

Having breakfast now then I'll wash dishes and tackle more flying.

I've also filed a pile of receipts, wiped down the kitchen worktop and the cooker top, unboxed cans of pop and recycled the boxes. Oh, and I cleared the leaves out of the hedgehog's dish and filled it with fresh water.

And every time I spotted/ thought of something that I need to remember I've jotted it down. (In an attempt to beat the brain fog 🤯)

Thank you for the lists Natty and Valli.  

Valli, in the olden days when I used to watch the A Team I'm pretty sure one of the characters used to say, 'I love it when a plan comes together'  amidst all the chaos while chomping on a cigar.  That quote sprang to mind this morning when I read about your family coming together in your new-to-you dining room.  Well done.

Up early for us this morning as Belovéd starts two weeks rehearsals directing a play of his which will be at a local theatre for two performances on 5 and 6 December.  It's one he wrote for the Millennium and he's updated it for the last 25 years and it's probably my favourite of all of his pieces because it's a comedy that just keeps rolling out the jokes.  We'll be going to both Opening and the Last Night(s).  So the next couple of weeks I have the house to myself all day which will be helpful.  I need to get through a lot of work while I can concentrate.

I've sent some emails out already that needed to go and tidied up and vacuumed in the places that needed it so now I'm back at my desk I've got about three hours to wade through the most urgent of the backlog.  

The dog is being flown at 2.00pm in the north of the city so I need to remember to set out in good time for that.  *sets alarm*

Morning All

3xWM & TD done this morning, with help from DS who put the first 2 loads on whilst I was still asleep 👍.  I'll do another load before I skedaddle off to lunch with the vols.  S&Sing kitchen & bathroom can be done when I get home.

Yesterday's clan meeting (OH's family) was lovely, all very nice people, will be seeing most of them at Uncle's party later in the week.

I'm back!

Dailies and dog walk done.  Have also s&sd downstairs loo and cleaned cupboard fronts in kitchen.  Hoovered through where I hadn't swept earlier.  It's raining here so very muddy clothes are now in WM.

P & S came for coffee and left with their Advent calendars.

I've done my Mr Al shop without the aid of a shopping list, and everything has been put away.

I called at PO and paid the rent and December's C.Tax. ✔✔

Mr T will hopefully bring the Christmas presents that were out of stock for my last delivery. I've also ordered a couple of presents for December birthdays, and most of the components of Christmas Dinner. (Note to self: I now have to eat from the freezer all week to make room for the delivery on Saturday.) And I don't know how it happened but there's a bottle of Baileys in my basket. 🤔 It's a mystery 😉

I'll try ringing the dentist's again after 2pm. They've emailed me to say ring and make an appointment for my annual check up in January. Hoping they can fit me in on my week off.

Whose dog? Flown where? Why is the dog being flown? Does the dog mind?

You are all so busy! **impressed**. Lazy flylady slothing in here 🦥. Thank you for the lists.
The darn wallpaper glue is proving to be of stubborn kind. I have delegated the difficult bits upwards (??) to DH after my mega session with the scraper yesterday. He has had more luck - brute force and ignorance is his go to, so the job has been halted for the day and will resume tomorrow, hopefully for the last day 🤞. I vacuumed the floors after he had finished, mainly so that I could claim flying credit, but he doesn’t know that.
Bills paid, now to actually order things that I have been listing / researching / thinking about for the past few days, including my seed and potato order for next year on the allotment. Wm x 2 done, td x 1 in progress.

Afternoon all.   I dusted, polished and vacuumed all downstairs and up the stairs this morning and washed the kitchen floor.   Then went shopping with DD2 and bought the few things on my list and some new knickers.  Hope they're OK.  You never know until you've walked out wearing them whether they're just right or too small and pinchy or too big and try to fall down.   Tomorrow will tell!

This afternoon we got the dehumidifiers on.   Read the instructions and scratched our heads then just turned them on and set the humidity level and left them to it.   The levels are going down so something must be working.  Just got to train myself to shut the doors and windows.   I like to have doors open through the day but I expect I'll cope.

Whoever was asking about sink and bath plugs a week ago, they started sitting in the middle of the bathroom windowsill, then moved to the left had side and I've just checked and now they're in his bathroom cabinet.   Good job I wasn't holding my breath.  I haven't had a problem with them so I don't really care.....pick your battles.

Paid stuff done, library books returned and new ones chosen, car filled with diesel, LR fire cleaned out, all clean washing put away. 

I got stupidly flustered when I came out of work and found my car blocked in.  For some reason I got into the car and just sat in the driver's seat for a moment instead of going back into work and trying to locate the owner of the car behind me.  Then when the driver tapped on the window to tell me he was moving I apologised to him.  He must think I am bonkers. 

Kitchen needs putting to bed, forgot to put DW on earlier so no room for dinner pots.
