I've also had a ride down the motorway to clear out my diesel engine as instructed by DB, plus called at PO and paid the rent / withdrawn cash to pay for my meal at the Macmillan Nurses Christmas 'do'.roundtuit said:

wendywitch, our plugs are from B&Q but obviously they are still sitting on the bathroom windowsill (where I put them). Who knows when they will make it into the sink/bath.....I'll let you know when/if that happens!6

Afternoon all
Had a frantic few days thanks to painful tooth & emergency dentist appointments. Turns out I've a dead tooth so am on antibiotics, painkillers and the waiting list for Endodontics. Bah, gah and 😤.
Flying-wise, I've cleared out spar oom today and given it a good going over; declutter/ clean/dust/vacuum/clean bedding/aired out - the lot. It's now ready for family staying over on Wednesday.
While I was sorting out spar oom, took the opportunity to switch bagged up summer clothes & bedding which was lurking, with winter stuff to/from the loft. Also vacuumed 2 bedroons, the landing & the stairs. I must be having a good day (tooth problems aside).

Man has been to examine loft/hatch and measure and I can have a loft ladder installed without meddling with hatch and it will be done a fortnight tomorrow.
I have cleaned kitchen and re mopped DR and ironed all the slightly damp washing and am shattered.
Boudoir tomorrow because mine is dusty. List will be up later.

Looks like I am going to get some help with Flying. One of our roommates is going to become the care giver for the one of the other roommates and he has to do at least two hours a day helping her. Since the house is a tip with her stuff mainly, I may be able to get him to clean it up. I will be making him a list of what needs to be done and he can work his way down the list. Yippee!!7

Morning all xx
🤞 for you weenancy xx
It's back-to-work-after-ten-days-off day for me. Bottom lip is out. I think I'd be very good at being retired! Heyho. I need the money. So I'll go.
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, packed my lunch bag, changed Joey's seed and water, eaten breakfast, completed Strands with no hints, completed Wordle in two, only managed one line in Connections (the purple line), and I'm supping a brew.
I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I set off. My parcel has finally arrived at the PO so I'll pick it up on my way home.
Have a good day. At home. With your pets. In the warm. Not that I'm jealous or anything 🤣

Seasick Steve2 -
This morning was taken up with getting a haircut. Wished my hairdresser merry Christmas on the way out - eek!
Bedding changed, wm x 2 done. Washing hung outside as it was bright but very cold. I have just brought it back in as it feels no drier and unlikely to get any drier now. Bedroom dusted, enthusiasm being drummed up to vacuum in there now. Dw running as it appears that I am the only person who can tell when it needs to be switched on…0
