  • Thank you both.

In the skeleton argument, should I change the “Costs” section to “Relief Sought” changing it to a one-line overview of seeking reimbursement under CPR 27.14(2)(g) as referenced in the intro, and then attach the detailed Schedule of Costs provided in a separate document? Or should any reference to costs be removed entirely from the skeleton, with a short introductory note included instead on the separate signed and dated Schedule of Costs?

    Either of those works. 🙂

  • Thank you, completed and sent. I'll take a mental break this evening as my brain feels fried, but there are a couple of questions I have regarding the evidence- I'll save those for tomorrow. Thank you so much for all of your help!

You may want to check the total (Total: £216.00) - should it be £241 (unless I have cocked-up)

Correct it should be £241; £216 was based on £19/hour for the L.I.P costs.

  • Oh dear; I've sent it now. I assume it's too late to fix

Yes but the judge will decide on costs anyway. You can have a conversation.

  • I did wonder whether loss of earnings would be counted as im on maternity leave, but i have actually had to cancel my KIT day for February due to the hearing. Not sure where I stand with that though as KIT days are obviously optional

"Loss of leave" is the phrase in the applicable CPR. The judge may not know (might wrongly think it only covers salary) so look it up to know which rule to cite.

  • Thank you, will do my research.

With the reinstated hearing, the letter sent by the Court is dated 30th January and the hearing is set for 18th February, so there is less than 21 days notice. Is this allowed?
