Then as that date is around 4 weeks before the hearing date, and your decision must be before the 24th December, I suggest that you check if the hearing fee has been paid on Wednesday 10th of December, giving you almost 2 weeks to ask for a free with consent adjournment , if they actually paid the hearing feedabachi_scents23 said:9th December3 -

Wait until then, then look at the options if the fee hasn’t been paid. Meantime, don’t give Moorside any ammo to keep you on a string hoping you will cave. It’s a game of poker.dabachi_scents23 said:9th DecemberPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Worst case scenario, the hearing goes ahead and I lose and I'm made to pay, what are the options? Could I pay in installments or would that result in a CCJ? Obviously I dont want a CCJ, but equally may not be able to pay within 30 days being on maternity pay2

The judgment would have to be paid IN FULL, within 30 days, no instalments, has to be IN FULL to avoid the CCJ6

Thank you - any idea what the cost would likely be?Gr1pr said:The judgment would have to be paid IN FULL, within 30 days, no instalments, has to be IN FULL to avoid the CCJ1 -
A typical loss in court for a single pcn claim is around £2124

Interesting, even losing in court would be cheaper than paying their "final offer to settle out of court" which currently stands at £240!Gr1pr said:A typical loss in court for a single pcn claim is around £2124 -
