Monday is here again, although I must admit that these days I don't dread Mondays! What a lovely feeling that is 😀 This morning I have a 2hr clean in the next village, it is a nice sunny day for a cycle and then a 2hr clean nearer to home this afternoon.

I must admit that we didnt look at cameras or pensions as planned. DH was too engrossed in the racing and I ended up having a 2hr nap! We did have a nice walk with the dogs in the woods and then yesterday I went to clean for my grandad. We tackled a large wardrobe in the spare room that had a lot of my nan's bits and bobs in. A lot of old photo albums which were lovely to see. Lots of bits of Christmas and birthday wrapping paper that she would keep, iron and reuse 🤣 and then knitting bits. Photo albums were arranged nicely on the shelving, bits of wrapping paper were recycled and knitting bits I have put together to give to one of my customers who knits things for charity. I did find buried a lovely box with 4x cups in that different types of tits on (birds not the other sort, get your minds out the gutter! 🤣) which my grandad said i could have, so they are now in our kitchen.

Delurking not just because those mugs are beautiful but because my grandmother used to save wrapping paper and iron it. You've really made me smile with that memory😀

My Gran also used to whisk the wrapping paper away - until Grandad stopped her doing it 🤣 She never stopped cutting out images from Christmas cards with pinking shears to use as gift tags though 🩷

Erm… sorry, am I being too MSE when I save wrapping paper (albeit I do usually only use it for the present-stealing game, having got a stash of fabric wrapping bags)? And I definitely chop up my Christmas cards for tags - why wouldn't you?!

@South_coast haha brilliant! I do cut out pictures on Christmas cards with my crinkle scissors for gift tags though. Funnily enough, something my nan taught me to do 🤣

@themadvix Haha, sorry vix! I do cut pictures out of cards with my crinkle scissors and I do save gift bags, but i don't do the wrapping paper one. Maybe I should start in honour of my nan! P.S. Appreciate the compliment regarding my tits 🤣
