Free is my favourite price 😀! And it's not like you're scraping it off her body and re-using it, now that would be cheap 😬

I did completely forget where I was and that you lot are my tribe then, didn't I?
I did end up having today off. I was doing some painting for a customer yesterday and seemed to have pulled a muscle in my arm in the process as I woke up feeling very sore this morning, so figured a rest day was in order. I have still done a load of washing, cleaned the filters in the extraction unit above the hob/oven and been to the pet shop.
We had quiche, potatoes and salad for tea and now I'm catching up on Gogglebox before I go to bed for an early night 🙂

How is it Wednesday already?! The days seem to be going very quickly lately, i think it's because I'm enjoying what I'm doing. I had a lovely message from one of my newer customer's (the one that lives in the next village) on Monday after I had been there saying she was close to tears as she was so happy with the work I had done and what a difference it had made for her. That really made me happy! On the other hand, I did a 3hr clean this afternoon, the owners weren't there and I have not had any feedback or been paid yet. I'm hoping its just because they are a busy household with 3 kids. My brother works with the husband so I'm sure I will get paid, I'm just anxious they didn't think I did a good job 😔
This morning my high interest saver matured, so I've cashed it out and opened a S&S ISA. I will start to contribute what I can to this to go towards my retirement. I need to have a look at what to do with the workplace pension I had and the money in it and if to just leave it or open another and transfer it over. A job for the weekend I think.
Also, good news, doggo has healed nicely with just a small amount of scabbing now. This means he is allowed in the garden off lead and I am able to sit on my swing and enjoy a cup of tea 😀

Jessy, if you don’t want to go down the SIPP route for your self-employed pension, you can open a Nest pension or a PensionBee one as a self-employed person - you add contributions and they reclaim the tax from the government and add it to your pot - fees are not as low as a SIPP could be, but comparable with a workplace pension. Worth taking a look at (there might be other similar options too, but these both come out well).
