Thank you everyone for the kind comments ❤️
It's been a tough couple of days. Even though we have Dog 2 & 3, Dog 1 was my little shadow and was always with me. She was the one that curled up with me on the sofa or on the bed and turning around and her not being there has been extremely difficult to deal with. I'm going to try and sort out her bedding today. The bed can be washed and used by the other two, but she had a patchwork quilt that could do with binning, she used to dig at it and bury herself, grumbling at it as she got herself comfy, so its a little bit holey 🤣
We've chosen a beautiful magnolia that can be grown in a container called magnolia stellata and we will be putting her ashes in the container with that. She had a whippet brother that she grew up with and he sadly passed away nearly 6 years ago, we kept his ashes so that they could be put together in a special container with a plant to remember them. We just need to find a special container now!

So sorry to read about dog 1. Pets are like family when they pass. Just remember you gave her a good life .

Thanks all ❤️
We were talking about it the other day and she did have a good life. The most I was ever apart from her was 2 nights and that was only last year when we went to BILs wedding, she went on holidays to Devon, the Lake District, the Peak District, Yorkshire and Suffolk. She had lots of days out places like the seaside and the woods, she had a LOT of treats, kisses and cuddles. Not a bad life overall really and rightly so, she was the best! Its been a tough week and I've missed her dearly, theres been a lot of tears and there will be for a long time to come!
Payday today, I've already shifted money around and paid £100 off the mortgage, so that's now at £189,077. I'll wait until the interest has been added on and then when the DD has come out before I make another payment so that will be next week now.
We do have some spendy times coming up. My brother is replacing some fencing for us which is being propped up at the moment, albeit at family rates (hes a good egg) and then our plumber is going to be replacing all the radiators for us as they are original ones from when the house was built and the control valves are now obsolete so if they break (im pretty sure some have already because turning them doesn't seem to make any difference!) they cant be replaced. It'll be nice to have that stuff all done over the summer though, so we're all set for winter.
Have a good Friday all x
