NSD - 5/12 withdrew cash but spending it tomorrow so will declare it then if that’s allowed?
Outside - no
Winter Planning - Cleaned downstairs of the house this evening so up to date with that agai. Will do one cleaning task a day to keep on top of it.Veg/Fruit - None today & haven't eaten properly today.
Enjoy / Grateful for - It’s Friday. Awful day in work lost my rag then had a little cry!! I’m furious with how things are going and how I’m expected to sort out everyone else’s mistakes that are time critical. It’s gone on too long and enough was enough today. Glad I stood up for myself but shocked at how angry/upset I was. Hopefully this little blowout cleared the air & made my feelings clear.
Make Time / Lists - Chilling on the sofa after a stressful day.Bring your own / use up - Nothing here today
Exercise - Housework don’t think I’ll achieve my step target today but I have extra from previous days so it will average out!!
Remember others - Donate / Act of kindness - It was me that was shown kindness by work colleagues, so grateful for the lovely ladies I work with.Lightbulb moment - 17/08/2017 £17,033. Current CC debt £0.00 DFD 31/7/24 🥳. Member #8 of Fiver Friday Challenge £220/£260. NST Nowvember member 🐢2 -
Today I am grateful for getting to the gym, for tutoring, for having a car, for our own fish and chips - supermarket bought battered fish and homemade chips, for getting the last of the jasmine to the tip, for really mild weather - don't think we've had a frost yet.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!3

Didn't sleep well last night but did this morning - woke, took my pills, slept, woke, had my shower, slept, woke, got dressed, went o the library. The people at the life centre in the library don't deal with what I wanted (planning) but she found the email for me to contact them. Left it until Monday as was still a bit dozy and didn't think I'd get any sense out of anyone on FRidaay afternoon.
More books taken out - gut health, recipes, important maths ideas and 2 novels.Came home and sleept again. Just starting to get sleepy so will turn the laptop off. I know what house things need doing if I have awake periods in the night. Babies presents were sorted last night, a token present for Beloved (will contribute when they are moving), cards ordered and left a few websites open.
Grateful for helpful Council staff, finding books that support my wellness goals and catching up with sleep.8 -
Happy new year! 😁
I went out with my dd on Thursday and had a lovely day 😁 she picked up my grandbaby's main presents for the holidays (I'd already given her his solstice money from me) and we had lunch out - it was okay but not somewhere I'd return to...
Yesterday was an interesting one: I had an incident on the dog walk with a very unpleasant dog walker which, I must admit, I let affect me for much longer than I should. However, it has helped me consider how I can let personal injustices go more quickly so I'm viewing it as a learning opportunity 😉
List wise - I started my new vegan storecupboard challenge thread yesterday and got all of my inventory on there 🙌 I've got a hard copy in the kitchen and will be making amendments as I go along. I've written a list of jobs I'd like to get done this winter too so feel pretty organised 😁
Gratitudes- watching the geese migration over my house, a warm home, crazy garden wildlife and a beautiful sunrise and sunset 😍

Hi all!.
its the weekend! I make the beds, wipe down kitchen counters and wash up,but no housework. 5 day week for me
Weekend is for decluttering, tidying etc,This weekend I intend to set up a complete folder of all Mr Dusty's documents, passport, bank statements, important medical records etc. At the moment they are a bit chaotic,I have a mesh 4 slot mail organiser and keep putting mail to be dealt with in there, and if I use docs like at the bank on Thursday I tuck them in there too till it gets very full untidy and VERY unorganised. I'm sure I'll find lots of Mr Dusty stuff there. Nice little job to do while sitting around resting my back and knees.
I have been having a bread free few days.I didnt buy any bread at last grocery delivery last Sunday. If bread is there I will eat and eat and eat it. My sugar levels were up 4 points on my diabetic test the other day, nurse didnt condemn too much, even though I have been unwaveringly apparently glued to 48,lowest number of full diabetes for years. So no more comfort eating of bread for a while. Better to remove it entirely as I find just cutting down just miserable.
Bread always makes me bloated,I'm hoping a few weeks without will help to take off the 3 pounds I put on the last few stressful month. My weird body just seems to stick at the same weight weeks at a time then I will lose a pound, stick again. For 18 months I just steadily lost that one pound a month, till I got down from 17st 2lb to 15st 11lb. Then all the stress got to me last xmas and I ate and ate and ate all the xmas stuff I bought and no one came ,or didnt want it. Crisps and chocolate ,christmas cake, all the buns I got it for sandwiches on Boxing Day but the celebration was moved to DS1 home and he had a different style of buffet.I went totally crazy and ate a whole big box of Black Magic! It was a kind of madness. Even then with an impossible number of calories I only went up to 16 st 2lb,in days of yore I expected to put on at least half a stone over xmas/new year. But I lost that ability to lose that nice steady pound a month.and after that I just fluctuated between 15 st12.5lbs and 15st 11.5 lbs which is weird, normally people fluctuate a few pounds ,not staying 4 days then put on half a pound for 3 days then lose it again..After 2 stupid months eating chocolate and sweets and whole packets of biscuits EVERY DAY plus 8 or 10 slices of bread daily it was so sad to see 16st 2lb on the scale last week. Now some of that was just bloat off the bread,I am now back to 15st 13lb. I will cut out the sweets and bread for a while and see if I can re-establish that steady 1 lb a month. loss again. Thyroid issues just seem to prevent weight loss unles it is a full out assault course,eg a 4hr eating window, strict keto diet or some such. If it was just me but I take care of Mr D and cook for him etc, and such a strict regime is impractical for me. Dieting just makes my weight rebound,to a higher set point so I dont want to do that, and so I will stick to lower carb food and increase the veggies and see how we go.
I know that the anaemia, the depression the sadness because of Mr Dusty's awful decline have all led to me NOT prioritising my own health and well being, but now being with the Ninja Turtles wise guidelines will surely help me get back on track.Wish me luck.7 -
Today I am grateful for getting a liddle box, for chatting with a friend at the gym, for preparing the garden for tomorrow's bonfire and fireworks, for baked potatoes in the air fryer, for Pip having a quiet day after yesterday's meltdown, for Star Wars.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4

@dustydigger I’ve tried to lose weight all year and yet I’m the same weight as I was in January. I’m constantly‘being good’ but the best I can do is maintain it’s so frustrating especially when I am trying, but I think to myself where would I be if I wasn’t trying and that is a frightening thought!Lightbulb moment - 17/08/2017 £17,033.
