I'm so sorry to hear your sad news Sue, losing such a dear friend is heartbreaking for you and T. As Ant says, there will also be relief that her suffering has ended and she can be at peace. I'm thinking of you 💕

It's been a busy week for me and DH. Our son and family are relocating to Pembrokeshire for a new job and DH and I have been house hunting for them. I do enjoy it when it's not for me! We haven't moved for 26 years, so we are a bit out of practice! It will be lovely to have them move closer to us though. They've sold their house, so the hunt is on 👀
Another £5 and some loose change this week. Happy Easter everyone 🐰🐣

- Hi Potters! I hope you've all enjoyed a lovely week, now time for a Very Happy Easter!
I hope everyone is healthy and not feeling low in spirits. Meanwhile, get well soon, for now, love from us all at SPC ❤️
Very well done LMD!
Bless you for your very kind words Ant. Not only is she free from her health problems, but all being well she's now reunited with their wonderful sons which will be a Godsend in itself. Thanks so much Ant.
You most certainly seem to be cracking on well Dizzycap! Hopefully, we now have a good summer to look forward to and then come the start of autumn October will be here! 😅 Keep going.
Bless you dear Siju, your kind thoughts and words also are so comforting. Yes, both T and I are both so relieved she's now free her from the pain she's endured especially during the last 2 weeks, but God willing she's now reunited with both their wonderful sons whose lives here on earth weren't easy with illnesses etc at all. Even though their youngest had 3 illnesses of cancer, he and his DW were still able to have 3 wonderful children, a blessing in itself. Her beloved husband and T and I are in constant touch, and thankfully, so far he's not doing too badly, plus everything is done that needs to be done after such a sad event.
I wish you both the very best of luck in finding the perfect new home for your DS and family. The only thing I can relate to Pembrokeshire relates to the 'Pembrokeshire Gap' and how folk there are especially affected by the snow that follows through it. All the very best to you with a successful search! BTW the last time we moved was also 26 years!Very well done with the £5er, and a very Happy Easter to you all. 🐣🐰
Very many thanks for your very kind thoughts Hetty. Well done with potting your £5 note! A very Happy Easter to you both 🐰🐣- Have a really Wonderful Easter Bank Holiday folks whater you all do.

That’s absolutely the right way to look at it @Sue-UU
Yes it’s very very sad but she was a blessing to the World and she’s now reunited with her boys. I am sure you will continue to be a huge support to her husband.
Our beloved cat passed yesterday. We were hugely upset but time had caught up with him and we were getting close to calling the vet. Thankfully nature took its course and he passed while we were with him. We all know that the gift of love and connection ultimately comes with a heavy price tag 😥
Another £2 coin potted. The house feels so strange without our sweet little furry man.

Well, we're a week in with Duke and it's going OK (we feel!). We're meant to be working on his toilet training as he needs to transition from grass to astro turf/yard (they're supposed to go on a hard surface), but he is steadfastly refusing to entertain it. So we have to go out every hour, do the routine, then come back indoors, and if it gets to about 6 hours we just have to let him go on the garden. He must have the bladder of a camel!! We did some training on Wednesday with our handler, but then Duke switched off doing recall so we haven't been able to free run him this weekend (they had pre-booked a secure field for us) and he's not thrilled about going in either car so we were told not to try that either. So all in all a quieter weekend than expected (we have to stay with him for the first 5 days to settle). He's an absolute angel though. He did bark at bedtime to begin with but last night we never heard a peep from him so hopefully that's one box ticked. I took him for a short walk yesterday, and it is definitely weird to not have to take him for walks, and he did a few zoomies in the garden which was lovely to see. He's back at school tomorrow so we're getting a tour of the facilities when we drop him off.
Moneywise, Plum is still working hard for me although I've lost track! And some long-overdue cashback finally landed in my Quidco account.

So sorry about your cat @AntoMac it's heartbreaking when you lose a beloved pet 💔
Sounds like Duke is settling in very well @MrsShazbat 💕
DS and family came to stay for Easter. They have sold their house and hopefully found a new house. They will be putting in an offer this morning, so fingers crossed 🤞
Just five pounds this week 😊 Enjoy the sunshine if you have it 🌞
