- Hi Potters! I hope you've all enjoyed a Very Happy Easter! enjoy the week ahead, the good and not so!
I hope everyone is healthy and not feeling low in spirits. Meanwhile, get well soon, for now, love from us all at SPC ❤️
Bless you so very much Ant. We will always miss her terribly and the amazing friendship shared, but it's wonderful thinking of her with her sister, who passed a year before their youngest son (ready to be there for him and his elder brother is how I've always viewed it).The friendship between her dear husband and T and I will definitely stay just as strong and we'll still enjoy each other's company a great deal as well as always talking about his darling wife, God bless her.
I'm so very sorry to hear about your dear cat, Ant, but so very pleased to know he passed when the time was right for him rather than having to rely on a vet. Your last sentence 'we all know that the gift of love and connection ultimately comes with a heavy price tag' absolutely sums up love and loss of those so special in our hearts. Bless you so very much Ant, so much appreciated.Very well done with the potted £2.Very well done LMD!
Very many thanks indeed MrsShazbat. Toilet training never comes easy with any animal, but all in good time, Duke will get there, just as he stopped barking at bedtime. I'm so very pleased you're so happy with Duke, and glad the training has gone well so far.Good for you with the Plum!
Ah but they say slow and steady wins the race Tattypud, not a bad amount for the week.
Oh fingers crossed indeed for DS and his family Siju! I do hope they're fortunate in their offer being accepted! 🤗Very well done with your potting!
- Have a really good week ahead folks and enjoy tomorrow's weather!

found 1p roadkill in a car park so it’s gone in the pot. @AntoMac very sorry to hear about your cat. Mine passed 18 months ago at the age of 18, luckily at home held in my arms as she slipped away so she knew she was loved from first to last. I still sometimes “hear” her miaow 😢

@Sue-UU I am so incredibly sorry to hear about your dear friend, but at least she will be reunited her sons. May the rest of you take comfort that she is no longer in pain and you are able to look back on all the good times you had together.
@AntoMac What sad news. I maintain that there will be many furry friends waiting for me when my time comes, and hopefully you can remember the fluffy cuddles you had together.
It barely seems right to celebrate the £4 which I've potted after our time away for Easter, but it's been potted.

Another £17.64 has become payable on TopCashback, so I've duly potted it!
I saw a friend at the weekend who has come back to the UK temporarily as she's living and working in Dubai. She won't be here for long, but it was SO good to see her.

- Hi Potters! I hope you've all enjoyed a lovely weekend, now time for a good week ahead!
I hope everyone is healthy and not feeling low in spirits. Meanwhile, get well soon, but or now, love from us all at SPC ❤️
Bless you Hetty, your dear cat in your arms clearly couldn't have a more perfect passing, wonderful.Well done with your 1p.
Such kind words for Ant and I, Vicky and very many thanks indeed. In time we will most definitely be sharing in the wonderful times we shared with our much loved friend with her dear husband.
Your words to Ant about there being many more furry friends in our lives after losing one. Our first Jack Russell was 9 yrs old when she was malled by our next door's Alsatian! I was in the garden with our Ginny when next door's dragged her from under the fence and used her as a ragdoll!! T was luckily working at the nearby farm and heard the terrible noise, we rushed her to the vet who did all he could, but it wasn't long before she died as a result. We mourned her for some years, but finally decided to get a Labrador, which we had several of until 3 yrs ago when due to health problems we decided not to have anymore.
You should most certainly be celebrating about the fact that you've potted the £4 from your time away! Brilliant potting with your TCB cash!I'm so thrilled you found your friend Vicky. By golly we're a very long way from Dubai so catch up while you both can!Bless you LMD, very kind thoughts indeed and I've gladly accepted your kind hugs. 🥰
Have a lovely week ahead folks whatever you do.- Sue

Thank you for the kind words regarding my beloved cat. Lots of lovely people on this thread. We have to accept that grief is part of life for all of us at some time.
I picked up the random roadkill amount of 11p today, at Waitrose of all places. We’re very rarely posh enough to shop there but I might have to go back if people are going to chuck around spare cash 😀
Aside from the bonus 11p my potting is coming along very nicely. I hope everyone else is doing well too.
For anyone going through tough times, please try to remember tough times don’t last forever.

Had a very nice couple of days away in London with DH. Went to see an Agatha Christie play and a musical. I'm not usually a big fan of the city but this time I thoroughly enjoyed as it didn't feel overly busy. Obviously spent too much but still going to put £5 in the pot. Enjoy your weekend 😘
