What do the T&Cs say? They often have 12 month clawback clauses if you switch away before then but other than that in my experience they're not too restrictive. Like the banks did for their switching offers, no doubt they could introduce 'never again' type terms if they wanted.winkowinko said:How regularly (if at all) do platforms allow you to receive transfer cashback?
I will soon be transferring my ii S&S ISA and SIPP to Freetrade for the 1% bonus, but it got me thinking, would this be my one and only opportunity to receive cashback from Freetrade? Likewise, if I wanted to return to ii in a year or two, would I be eligible for whatever transfer bonus they might be offering then?
Do you only get one opportunity from each provider?

Kind of suggests that there might also be a message that says "ISA wrapper in place - Yes" but I can see neither.Nick_C said:I opened a Santander S&S ISA a couple of weeks ago, and bought £100 worth of Vanguard LifeStrategy 100% Equity Fund.
In the app, it says “ISA wrapper in place – No”
I don’t understand why. Should I be worried about this?
Whereabouts on the rather cluttered ISA bit of the app are you seeing this?0 -
Oh, yes, I have this as well. Weird.Nick_C said:I opened a Santander S&S ISA a couple of weeks ago, and bought £100 worth of Vanguard LifeStrategy 100% Equity Fund.

You find this summary in the phone app when you click on your Stocks & Shares ISA account on the homepage. As far as Santander knows, it's tracking my annual allowance correctly so I'm not worried.
I think this might refer to some sort of "ISA wrap" functionality, moving investments from a GIA into an ISA.
From the T&Cs:

I can see the 12 month clawback on Freetrade, but no mention of only being entitled if you're a new customer.wmb194 said:

With ii, it's pretty clear, for their current SIPP offer at least. 'You are entitled if you did not hold an ii Personal Pension before 22 December 2025'
Just wondered if people have had success receiving transfer cashback from the same provider more than once?0 -
I recently got a second incentive from Fidelity. It really depends on the terms of future offers, which can't be known in advance.winkowinko said:

So far 3 from HL, 2 from Fidelity, 4 from Nutmeg, 3 from II, and 3 queued from Freetrade. Plus a lot of other singles. Some even got stacked with TCB/Quidco but those were mostly errors in my favour.masonic said:

Ok, so it's clearly possible multiple times, or at least was.artyboy said:

Curious to know over what time span that was, and also if it applied to S&S ISA and SIPP?0 -
Nearly all SIPP for me as it's where I have the most scope to divide up and move around. Been doing this for the past 3-4 years, made in the region of £20k cash and 500k Avios (good old Nutmeg...)winkowinko said:

To draw a line under this from my perspective, in case it helps anyone else affected, it has finally been resolved (without taking to TP!).
I began to get traction by first having a call with my assigned account manager. To be fair, he was really good, was happy to assist and said he escalated my issues (which I believe). But still nothing more happened for a week. He gave me his direct email and I messaged this, stating (politely) that I'm now making this formal and quoted the FOS processes.
He escalated again, this got the desired impact. A CS supervisor reached out to me, within a few minutes my account was 'unlocked'. Very odd, but related to the bonus she wanted me to log in again without my VPN. The claim in regard to what went wrong with the bonus, is that there was an issue with my share allocation. But plenty of people got the shares after I did. Anyhow due to this issue, I have been given $685USD in cash instead. So all good.
I am going to keep the £5K invested for the 90 days, for what it's worth. It's taken a fair chunk of emotional energy but if they hadn't locked my account, I wouldn't have got the bonus. So it worked out well enough in the end.

Glad to hear you got it sorted, even if it took a fair amount of time and worries having money tied up.
