I normally do, but all the other applications sent me an OLA email so I was lulled into a false sense of security!friolento said:artyboy said:My first 4 accounts tracked fine, but the last 2 I did (the fixed ISA and the Edge Saver) haven't tracked, yet.
Especially with the Edge one, I'm a bit suspicious of the click through integrity, as Santander makes you open a new window to log in to online banking before letting you apply, wondering if that breaks the link. Could be a ball ache to claim as it was the one account that never sent me an email with the OLA reference on it...
Just raise a missing cashback claim if you can't see it tracked after a couple of days
Too late now for your existing applications, but for future reference: the OLA is displayed on the application acceptance screen, so it's a good idea to make a note of it then, just in case no email ever arrives.0 -
I managed to screenprint the OLA for the account that tracked and didn't for the one that didn't!friolento said:

I've raised the claim quoting the sort/account of the new saver, couldn't think what else to use.1 -
I raised a claim for the fixed ISA as I had the OLA, but for the Edge saver, I think it will be easier just to close it and then open a new one. Santander's account closure process tends to be quick and I'm not optimistic that a TCB claim without the OLA number would have any chance of success...flaneurs_lobster said:

I'll definitely be screenshotting the OLA next time!0 -
Has Edge Saver tracked for anyone?0

Mine tracked almost immediately, but took a further 48 hours to show £25.bristolleedsfan said:Has Edge Saver tracked for anyone?
I did raise a ticket during the wait, and the £25 appeared the following morning. I'm unsure whether this was a coincidence or a result of raising the ticket1 -

Similar experience. My 2 savers (not Edge) tracked at £0 to start. Sometimes TCB say that cashback is supposed to track initially at 0, before uplifting. But since there's no such comment about the Santander accounts, I took "£0" to mean rejected, so started claims (which went 'on ice').
After 2 or 3 days, those £0 tracks turned into £25. I asked if they done something (quickly) as a result of the claim, but they said it had just changed to the £25 as expected. 🤷♂️

Yeah mine were the easy access and limited saver. I haven't applied for the Edge Saver, as I believe you also need a current account for that one?0

What I also found out yesterday is that the Edge Up account, which we have, does not make you eligible for the saver - it has to be the plain Edge or the other one with all the packaged benefits that costs £17 a month.winkowinko said:Yeah mine were the easy access and limited saver. Luckily I had another everyday account that I converted to Edge in 2 minutes. Won't have any money going in or DDs out so no charge for doing that...0 -
Santander closed my fixed ISA without warning, and paid my balance with a few pence of interest into a Santander current account. No reason given (though there might be one buried in the T&Cs), no communication, just account closed. This fixed ISA had not tracked at TCB. I already have a Santander S&S ISA (got paid £75 TCB c/b) and an easy access ISA, which has tracked ok, alongside same savers, current accounts and a 0% credit card, some already paid by TCB, others still pending. I am not going to argue. Sleeping dogs etc etc etc1

Doesn't Santander only allow one S&S Isa and one cash Isa account?friolento said:Santander closed my fixed ISA without warning, and paid my balance with a few pence of interest into a Santander current account.
