Via TCB I've done in the last couple of weeks, CSD *2, Shepherd's Friendly, Scottish Friendly, and none of them tracked automictically! afaik I followed the steps to the letter, turned vpn off, accepted cookies etc. It does seem that there is some additional jeopardy with using an affiliate rather than getting cashback directly from the provider. But then eToro was a huge saga, and that was direct. I've submitted missing cashback claims for all of them, so will be interesting to see how it turns out. The second CSD is a punt really, but I expect to get the first one.

I saw the JMP Chase offer but didn't consider it until this morning because on first glance the TCB JP Morgan offer seems better as you can get cashback for both the ISA and the GIA…however I don't think you can because if you look at the terms it states you should not have applied to join JP Morgan investements before so obviously once you have opened one of those accunts in theory it should then make another claim invalid as you are then an existing customer, I'd assume? I've not read the CSD terms but I wonder if that would be the same.

It doesn’t give you the choice to choose your own funds. The closest you can do is to tell it that you’re very risk averse and hope it puts your money in bond funds.
I went for a middle of the road 3/5 risk level and have a c.65/35 equity/bond split. So far I’m breaking even.

The terms say that you need to open new accounts (so a new S&S ISA or GIA) not necessarily be a new customer to Charles Stanley Direct. No limit shown on number of accounts/cashback.

If only Quidco would follow suit. "We're still waiting on the retailer…"

2 x Cahoot new account openings in early Decemeber became payable today (£50), so it's taking Cahoot around 4 months to become payable after confirmation in TCB. Another £45 has just been confirmed in TCB for 3 x Cahoot accounts opened in February.

You are getting the cashback for all the accounts you are opening with them? So they pay out multiple times for multiple repeat account oepnings?

For CSD it is to be confirmed. Nothing in the terms stated that you wouldn't be eligible for multiple types of accounts. However, none of them tracked automatically, and there are multiple manual claims 'on ice'.
It's a balance of risk/reward, and £500 in a GIA that will earn close to base rate, that I can access any time isn't a material risk, especially when the reward is so inviting.
Personally, I have not used TCB for several years, so I am getting used to the processes again. And these are the first time that I have submitted manual claims. I'm confident that I have fulfilled the criteria, but none of it tracking automatically is necessarily confidence building!

So did I open a Santander S&S Isa in mid March and £50 became payable through TSB last week. I'm sure your CB will arrive soon 😉.
