Yes but then I'd miss out on a future switching bonus of £250.

Do you actually have to have a current account? Can't you just open the ISA?

Also I don't think that HSBS have had a regular switch deal now for a couple of years, the one at the moment is the premier account that's out of reach for most people so it's debatable whether a switch deal is in the pipeline anyway. I'd say it's worth taking this bonus, surely it's worth it combined with the £150 and high interest rate combined though I guess it's a debate how high rates will naturally end up going now so who knows. Having said all that I'm still debating about whether to go for it myself or not, it's a uncertain time in terms of whether to grab the rates and deals or wait a bit and see if things get even better,

hi
Does anyone have any experience of the ISA / SIPP transfer process to Freetrade. I received confirmation from Barclays / Vanguard on Friday that both had completed with holding not showing in either. Not yet showing in Freetrade. I have asked the question but thought experience from others would be helpful to set my expectations.

Was just looking at that. Seems you do according eligibility criteria.

I recently transferred both an ISA and SIPP to Freetrade. It took a couple of working days for the funds to appear after they had left Interactive Investor

yes that’s the one.

We have transferred some accounts (from iWeb and ii) and the funds took several working days to arrive at Freetrade after they disappeared from the ceding platform.

Yes, it’ll take while - mine took 4 weeks

etoro re ERNS distribution
The interest distribution has been credited this morning. It's good that it's been credited on time but, as feared, it's in my USD wallet. It looks* like the conversion was at the current spot rate - GBP/USD 1.32 - with no fees but the bad news is that we'll no doubt be burned by a fee when converted to sterling…
To be philosophical, the cashback has been very good so I won't complain too much about it trying to make some of its money back but it's these experiences that put me off using it seriously in the future.
*I can't actually see the transaction but have had to impute it. Perhaps I'll be able to create a statement tomorrow and actually see its full detail.
