Regarding the TCG offer of £50 cashback for opening a Santander S&S ISA and investing £100……is that classed as a 'purchase' that would also qualify for the TCB £20 sign up bonus or no?

Never seen a TCB offer that can be stacked with another TCB offer. TCB + retailer offers no problem.

I emailed IG and they confirmed the code had been applied and outlined terms of offer.

And just received an email reminding me to deposit £200. These may be automatic.

I opened a share dealing account - hoping that was right.

    Response from robot:

    Hi XXXXX,

I'm Gio, an AI agent powered by Intercom, and I'm here to help with your enquiry about the DEPOSIT200 promotion.

Based on the promotion details, to qualify for the £200 bonus you need to complete these steps:

    • Open a new IG account (GIA, ISA or SIPP) between 31 January and 13 February 2026 using promo code DEPOSIT200

    • Make your first deposit and invest in shares or ETFs by 13 February 2026

    • Stay active until 30 June 2026 by opening, closing or holding at least one position each month

Since you opened your account on 2 February 2026 with the correct promo code, you've met the first requirement. To complete your eligibility, you'll need to make your first deposit and investment by 13 February 2026, then maintain activity through June 2026.

If you meet all requirements, your cashback will be credited to your general investment account by 30 July 2026.

Does this help clarify the requirements for your bonus eligibility?

Opened a Plum account (£12) and downloaded the app (£12) on 2nd/3rd January. £24 has just been confirmed on TCB.

What does "maintain activity" mean? Simply keep the money invested? Or you actaually have to make trades?

Surely that is the point of the offer? They gove you a £20 bonus when you use it for the first time? It has to be stacked otherwise the offer wouldn't exist. I was just wondering if opening an ISA account and funding it classes as a purchase that might be eligible.

Sorry, think I've misunderstood. Are you talking about a bonus for signing up to/using TCB for the first time? And then using the opening of a Santander ISA account as the first purchase? Think that's no problem at all.

I was talking about claiming two or more TCB deals for the same purchase, sometimes there can be overlap on offers. So for example, a mobile deal where you can get cashback for a phone+SIM, and separate cashback deal just for SIM - you can't get both.

I logged in and tried this robot thing, it said it couldn't chek my account specifically but gave the terms, and said I could find out if I qualified by logging in.

I asked where it would confirm I qualify, it said it couldn't tell me 😏

But that as I remembered entering the code correctly and fulfil the other terms, then I will get it, apparently

    Transcript saved … 😉
