Can't she just fill in that N9B form and send that back?Coupon-mad said:So email the defence as a PDF with headers and a signature & date under a statement of truth. As seen a year ago when we used to do it that way.0 -
Too late for that, with only 2 days before the lawyers can pull the trigger, a week ago it could have gone snail mailtir21 said:

Read back for what you have been told to tell her ! How to draft the defence with header, footer, signature, saved as a pdf and emailed
Stop looking for alternatives and follow our instructions, otherwise there could be a default CCJ against her by the end of this week2 -
I wouldn't. Most unsatisfactory. That likely involves hand-scrawling a short defence into a very small box.tir21 said:

Not recommended, and totally unnecessary, given we have got a template defence she can copy & paste into a word doc then add the claim number, both parties names (NOT THE SOLICITOR FIRM) and the word 'DEFENCE' headings & a statement of truth.
Then electronically sign & date it and save it as a PDF. Email it as a PDF attachment with URGENT DEFENCE - UNPROCESSED & the Claim Number, of course, in the subject line. And a brief explanation in the email body.
Get it done tonight as emailing it risks a wrongful CCJ the longer she delays. As long as she does it in time she wins the race but the other side won't know that and will likely throw in a default CCJ by Friday, which then needs batting away by complaining to the same clueless eejits at the CNBC who actually told you that the MCOL password is 'one-time'!PRIVATE 'PCN'?
