Hi there. Can someone help in suggesting how we should handle this? 5 years is a long time ago and we cannot completely remember the defence we had for parking where we did. She is worried about having to go to court, and can't really get time off work. Could I go on her behalf?

            Court claim, not summons.
They can't remember anything either and won't have any evidence.
That's one reason why they'll discontinue.
 Use the template defence.3

Have you got the link for that0

Search the following**NEWBIES!! PRIVATE PARKING TICKET? OLD OR NEW? **READ THESE FAQS FIRST!** Thankyou
Also have a read of the following thread showing you how likely DCB Legal are likely to discontinue when you put a strong defence forward.
Re: DCB LEGAL RECORD OF PRIVATE PARKING COURT CLAIM DISCONTINUATIONS
Make sure you put an acknowledgement of service and defence in before the deadline, sooner rather than later as this is time sensitive and if you don't get your defence in on time it will be a undefended claim.
You'll find a template defence on the newbies thread by Coupon-Mad that you modify for your own case, all explained there.3

Relax it's DCB Legal representing Smart
Smart did not issue POFA compliant notices in 2021 so if the driver is unknown then they have no cause of action. If the driver is known to them they will discontinue anyway nearer the hearing date.
The Defendant will need to go through the motions - Acknowledge, defend etc. but there's little chance of havint to attend a court hearing.Always remember to abide by Space Corps Directive 39436175880932/B:
'All nations attending the conference are only allocated one parking space.'

Aren't all those links about defending PCN's though rather than how to respond to a court claim?0
