    Just a note ... there's a new £25 Amazon giftcard VoucherSent offer (I was hoping for £500 for 500 carrots) ... https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/banking/compare-best-bank-accounts/#switch
I've started a new thread for this offer. 500 carrots? £1 for a carrot? These must be pretty special carrots.  ;)
They never said each carrot costs £1. Comprehendion ist hard

Mine has also become payable now. Just to put people's minds at rest: all my debit card transactions were made by ApplePay. I had them all done before the physical card had even arrived.

The spend 30 times on the debit card criteria only applied to be eligible for the Amazon gift card, TopCashback paid out just for opening the account.

Right mess up I made. I originally applied for the Santander account via TCB. However I clicked on the £20 cash back and missed the short form at the bottom. Account accepted and one hard credit search.

However because it was not linked to the voucher scheme I applied yesterday via TCB and filled in the short form before being transferred to Santander. No issues and second account opened but another hard credit search. Also received an email from Vouchers as confirmation all is registered.

TBH I was a bit worried because I wanted to check to see if the new account was shown in the app and would not let me access information in the app.  Started to panic thinking they suspect fraud.  However tried 20 mins after my panic attack and all is well and new second account shown.

So the first account is useless to me and will only use the second account. Fingers crossed all will be well!
So I opened one account on the 23 October and the second one on the 28 October. The good news is I have received Top cash back of £20.00 for each account.

  • Who is the 3rd party that was offering this deal? From speaking with Santander and Amazon, they both deny it was them.

Has anyone had their TCB £20 declined? I have gone back to them with email confirmation and OLA number which is the same number on the TCB confirmation. It was all tracking to payout next week, so don’t know what’s wrong.

I think the best you can do is raise a missing cashback claim and hope they will reconsider.

I had a TCB £20 payment today for opening a current account and making 5 debit card trxns. All debit card trxns made with ApplePay. I am losing track of all those Santander offers - this one was from an application made at the end of November 2025.

No sign yet of the promised Amazon voucher, though this isn't due until March, IIRC
