To ignore the powerless debt collectors letters that follow,  after which

Eventually you respond to a formal Letter of Claim giving you 30 days notice , second post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum

Followed by defending a possible Money Claim N1SDT pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL,  by using he appropriate PE defence template in the first post in the defence template thread in announcements near the top of the forum by coupon mad

    With our assistance of course

There was no fine  just an invoice from a private parking company

:( Thanks for the responses. I am autistic. I can't be having people threatening my home like that. I have 3 other autistic family members living here that would find that appallingly difficult.

I've found out why I was getting nowhere with the people who owned the land - I had the wrong title number somehow. The one I have is for the land next to where I actually was. I'm now trying to find out who ACTUALLY owns the land. I got the one I have for £7. The one I need is £25 and I can't work out why it's so much more expensive.

*Sorry. Just reread. You said debt collector letters, not debt collectors. I thought people would turn up at my door. :(

Sorry about all this. Clearly this is getting way beyond me. Is this the same process whether or not I do the popla thing? If that would buy me time I'd like to do it.

Not possible,  debt collectors don't rock up knocking on doors,  they can only send out dubious letters,  which you ignore,  therefore you also ignore the debt collectors too, nothing can happen , just IGNORE them

Nobody can come knocking without a court order ,  which won't happen

Try POPLA if you want. If you have a POPLA Code from ParkingEye?

You'll need to read post 3 of the NEWBIES thread. Then read post 4 of it (the letters).

  • Thank you

I have chased up TJ Morris 2 more times now as I think they probably own this car park. The first time I got what I'd had before, 'We ask that if you have a parking ticket that you go through Parking Eye's appeals process'. I replied saying that I was just trying to establish who owns the land but they ignored me again.

I'm out of ideas on how to get the land owners to engage with me.
