I don't understand the appeal process

Thanks. I didn't think to look for the owner of the whole complex rather than the car park outside home bargains. A search tells me it's Fords of Winsford but I called them and they said it isn't them and they don't know who it is either.
When you say trespassing, do you mean that I can't appeal? I had no idea I was trespassing as the carpark was in complete darkness.0 -
You don't seem to be understanding that there is no genuine appeals process.
The only way to get the invoice cancelled is via the landowner or via one of the loopholes to Popla.Non-illuminated signage won't lead to cancellation.
But that does not mean you pay.2 -
I found the owners of the complex. Will give them a call. Thank you!1

If you do manage to get hold of someone and they agree a cancellation of the PCN ask them to email the decision to you as the phone call is the worth paper it is (not) printed on.monochromerainbow said:I found the owners of the complex. Will give them a call. Thank you!4 -
Ah. I get it now. I appreciate you spelling that out. No, I didn't get that the appeals process is not genuine. That's horrifying.
I have left a phone message for the estate manager. If she does agree to a cancellation I'll ask her to email it to me. The first lady I spoke to sounded lovely. I'm vaguely hopeful.

The government has been trying to regulate the industry for over 7 years, so it may happen next year or before 2030, but it doesn't help you, whereas plan A, the landlord or landowner complaint may do. Plan A is ALWAYS the best option in private parking charge cases3

I really appreciate your time. I only found the land owner after the posts yesterday so I'm late to the actual complaint I needed to make and, unsurprisingly, the estate manager hasn't got back to me yet. Is there a deadline for starting the appeal process (in order to utilise any loopholes) or can I wait a little longer?
Thank you again0 -
28 days to appeal it to Parking Eye is their internal deadlinemonochromerainbow said:

Thank you again
33 days from any popla code, to Popla, at the second stage
6 years from the incident date is the Parking Eye deadline to sue you, under the Limitations Act 19804 -
The forum administrators removed the pictures because you didn't redact the QR code before taking the picturemonochromerainbow said:I can see that my pictures of the charge have disappeared again. I've resized them again so hopefully it will work this time.
I suggest that you edit your posts, delete the pictures again and properly redact them before posting them again, because QR codes are not allowed on mse3 -
Okay, so I think my next steps are (while waiting for the land owner to get back to me):
Appeal to Parking Eye as the registered keeper using the template on the sticky (by the end of today)
Wait for the inevitable rejection and check the sticky again? (Hopefully by then I'll have word from the land owner)
