(((Hugs))) Kaz.Cleaned the en suite sink, bath and tiles yesterday before my volunteering stint.Today I must urgently:- phone for a hair chop appointement;- organise a GC trip out with a neighbour for some time next week;- put away the last of yesterday's shopping- check out a sneaking suspicion that what someone said about a nifty trip to St Malo (in addition to the one that's already booked) isn't possible. If she's right and it is I quite fancy that on my own because I know Belovéd won't want to do it.Better is good enough.6

Sorry to read your news Kaz, hope you are able to come back soon x6

More hugs Kaz.
Did a fairly good day's flying today.
Kitchen: wudupa, several loads washing, cleared worktops.
Bedroom: changed bedlinen (washed, including all pillowcases, undersheet/topper thing and 3 pillows). Mr N helped turn mattress and I vacuumed bed frame. Vacuumed rest of room including moving all furniture and de-webbing the walls and ceiling. Vacuumed the 'floor' of all wardrobe sections. Took everything off dressing tables, tidied, dusted and polished.
En suite: Mr N did a thorough clean including mopping the tiled floor.
Did quite a long drum practice, really enjoyed it as I'm currently doing a rhythm I really enjoy. For other metal ballad lovers, my practice included Helloween 'Forever and One'.
Went to zumba.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.7 -
ooh clean sheets *bliss*
been to buy a new mattress protector as the elastic had gone on the old one and i’m sick of tucking it in every morning. Also been to some inedependent shop in town which is looking increasingly bleak…perils of being so close to Meadowhell I suspect. Have bought lovely cheese, got a watch battery and basically had a nice time mooching. And spent my birthday voucher and then some in the jewellers.

Morning all xx
((( Hugs ))) kaz.
It's been a strange week. Didn't feel 'right' on Wednesday morning so took the afternoon off as Annual Leave thinking a little r & r would do the trick. It didn't. Rang in sick Thursday and Friday and did nothing. Zilch. Nada. Joey kept me company and we watched random programs/ channels on telly.
I'm not ill ill. I'm washed out. No doubt fighting a virus of some sort. So the plan for today is to plod through the Saturdailies at my own pace. And if they spread into Sunday so be it.
DS is best man at a wedding today. Hope they have the best day.
Brew 2 and write my list sounds like a good start.
I've made my bed.

Afternoon all. Both beds stripped and remade today and I've done two washloads. First one out for a few hours then I got that in and put a second load out. The first lot felt more cold than damp when I brought it in so I've draped it round and should be able to put that away before I get the second load in. And repeat!Had a little walk this morning, DH not up to going far. I cleaned the bathroom and toilet this afternoon and just spent 5 minutes with a wet wipe and some cotton buds cleaning the bits I can't get into with a cloth, like the back lip on the cistern. Nobody else will notice but I feel quietly smug...Supposed to be rain for a lot of the next week so I wanted to get ahead with bedding.Hope you feel better soon Round and hope everyone else is OK x5

Rather overcast this morning but had a nice lake swim. They've just put in a little sauna hut so we were all allowed a free go.
- Stopped at Mr L on the way home to get a newspaper and a couple of other bits.
- Also stopped at church to replenish flowers and do some vacuuming.
- Spent a lot of the afternoon listening to music, didn't actually get round to any drumming but made playlists of the type of things I'm practising.
- Started going through my large collection of Mr T magazines as I like their recipes. Usually if I I like a recipe, I put a sticker on the front of the mag so I can locate it easily - however today I went through the mags, cut out any recipes I fancied and put the rest for recycling. Yesterday I typed up 3 recipes I'd copied onto post-it notes (which I do if I find a recipe online) and put them into a newish recipe file I have with plastic pockets so hopefully they will stay clean and not get lost. Baby steps but i've been wanting to sort out my favourite recipes for literally years if not decades.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.5
