Youngest has now developed earache so will be at the dr tomorrow for the 8 am appointment opening.Went to the plot and fil joined us to take down the big fruit net. Tried a new method which worked and saved us quite a bit of time.
Reduced 1 item on V hopefully it will go🤞.
Washing is getting its second wash as nature’s washing machine decided to wet it some more. Other than that not done a great deal else and certainly nothing mse wise.

The youngest diagnosed with an ear infection. Banana tasting antibiotic prescribed🤢.Difficult, uncomfortable day as my health condition has flared today and been quite painful. I suspect a number of things have contributed some within my control and some not. Time to make time for myself. Disappointed as I was meant to be going away this weekend with OH and the eldest. I doubt things will have rectified its self by then as usually it takes months😭. Fallen asleep twice on the sofa, I think I’ve hit a wall mentally and physically.I did manage to wander onto the plot where I sat in the shed whilst it rained , so I could establish where the leak was. Turns out it is in facts leaks . Marked area with a marker and will probably have to re-felt the roof. I did harvest a cabbage for tea. Broad beans and garlic are through. I’m really struggling not going up as much due to the weather and think this is contributing to my low mood. Sat and came up with next year planting plan and had a look at a couple of heritage seed companies. I was pleasantly surprised to find one that offered seeds at a reduced price if you are in low paid work or unemployed based on the honesty system. Cost me £11.50 for 14 packs of seeds and p&p. They only release so many of these packs per month.Sm shop £70 odd did include some medicine, lotions and potions for me.

I'm sorry to hear about your flare up. I hope it doesn't last as long as previously. You're right to take care of yourself though. Can you find some extra light from somewhere to help make up for the daylight?
It's exciting having the planting plan and ordering the seeds. Are these ones you've tried before?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Echoing the above I hope your flare up doesn't last as long as usual. I've had really low mood for weeks, I really think the dark miserable days are a big factor for many of us. Take care 🐞2

Sorry to hear re the flare up and also low mood. Its hard when you have caring responsibilities and plans to get some respite don't happen for any number of reasons. Knowing that can happen doesn't lessen the disappointment and let down feeling when it then does happen.4

cherryfudge I’ve got a sad lamp and have that on for 30 minutes in a morning to help with the lack of light. Regarding the seeds I’ve never used this seed company before but heard good things about them. They send instructions on how to save your own seeds too. This is something I’m looking forward to as it’s not really something I’ve done before.
Beanielou and dfwb321 definitely be trying to take care of myself over the next couple of weeks.teapot2 I think you’ve summed up the situation exactly and reading it actually helped me to feel a bit less guilty.
So I eventually got up at 1030am , I just couldn’t motivate myself to face the world. Once up and about I had to go and rescue the youngest who decided because they felt a bit better to go out for a walk. The 🤬 wheelchair broke down. Managed to retrieve them before the chap from the new to us wheelchair company arrived to assess the youngest. Test drive went well and we are just checking with the hoist company that our current hoist can be adapted or whether I’ll need a new one to manage the new chair which is double the weight. In total we are looking at roughly £6,000 for the chair and approximately £1200 for the hoist. The youngest and mixture of family members will finance it all. The youngest doesn’t meet the criteria for an nhs funded electric chair as they can walk inside using walls, furniture and bars. Outside the house obviously nothing to hang onto so is unable to walk . Crazy criteria as that means she can only have a manual chair but doesn’t have the strength to self propel and therefore would need us to push. Takes away their independence.Swiftly moving on as the above subject makes my blood boil. OH 2nd interview is tomorrow 🤞. I’ve also rang about a job today. It’s for a lollipop person. Explained my lack of references and they are happy to take a reference from the youngest’s social worker( I used to be this social worker’s deputy manager) and a personal reference from a friend. They will arrange an interview for December. It’s only a couple of hours a week but it gets me back in the workforce and if OH doesn’t get this job tomorrow and is made redundant it will help.Right time to 😴 and hopefully 🐞will wake up in a better mood.
