Nightmare, so it's not my posties fault 😂 Happy days at least you got your reg code and Pac code set.The registration code never arrived. I called yesterday and got the reg code and PAC set.
I'm not using the app, just online banking portal.
My DD's are showing, also opened the regular saver.
Like yourself i had to set standing order. I went ahead afterwards and made a manual deposit for this month.
You can cancel the standing order if you wish, thats what i done as i prefer to do manual payments to Regular Savers.
The manual payment you made to the RS today can you tell me if its dated today or Monday?
I think it's probably easier to just use online banking but I only ever use app for danske so have got used to apps.
It seems to be the AIB way of doing things with regard to standing order which I think I will leave in place as it's for 1st of month. I know what you mean about preferring manual payments, easier to keep track of.
The manual payment to RS is showing as Monday and the £1500 credit I made today is also showing as Monday.1 -
Thanks, RS deposit prob not earning interest till Monday then. No big deal, just something to be aware offBelfast1979 said:

I just tried calling for the PAC as letter clearly states "Advisers are available to help between 8am and 12am (midnight), seven days a week.
Recorded message said lines are closed and open till 5pm...which is a little different.
I'm not all that bothered, I found it a bit strange a bank would have people available on a Sunday this late but it's not a great sign of things to come0 -
Not sure why letter states that but afaik 03457930000 is available Monday to Sunday 9-5.hupik said:I just tried calling for the PAC as letter clearly states "Advisers are available to help between 8am and 12am (midnight), seven days a week.

I phoned yesterday, was through to speak to someone in 30 seconds and everything was sorted in about 5 minutes.0 -
I'm still waiting for my registration code letter from AIB 12 days after my account was opened and my postie delivered other mail today so theres no issue with Royal Mail.
If anyone else is in the same position, AIB will give you the registration code and set up your PAC if you call 03457930000, this will prevent the risk of AIB freezing the account if not activated within 14 days.

Has anyone successfully got the reward yet? Wondering how long it takes to credit the account0
-
Nothing yet but I only switched on Friday. I have done the £1500 and my first 2 Direct debits are due the first week of November. I have opened savings and done £100 deposit (Saturday) showing on accounts as yesterday.Coffeecomments95 said:Has anyone successfully got the reward yet? I think they may wait until all terms are met for switch incentive and cashback offer (savings incentive) and do both together as say it can take up to 60 days for both.
Edit- I think for me that could be as late as 19th or 22nd December.0 -
No. It takes up to 60 days from completing all the conditions of the offer.Coffeecomments95 said:Has anyone successfully got the reward yet? Wondering how long it takes to credit the account
Direct debits just need to be active, it's only Lloyds that insist on money being taken out of each one.Belfast1979 said:Nothing yet but I only switched on Friday. Hmmm, I think they're 2 separate offers, but to get the savings incentive you need to have qualified for the switch incentive. You could get the switch incentive and not bother with the savings incentive. But not the other way round.Belfast1979 said:I think they may wait until all terms are met for switch incentive and cashback offer (savings incentive) and do both together as say it can take up to 60 days for both.0 -
Totally agree Danny on up to 60 days.No. It takes up to 60 days from completing all the conditions of the offer.

I always err on side of caution about the active DD thing, Nationwide tried to wriggle out of a £100 incentive with me over the active/inactive thing nearly 15 years ago but Nationwide actually didn't bother to switch two of my active DD's so I won that one 😂
I agree on two seperate offers and that to get savings incentive you need to have qualified for the switch incentive, maybe I worded it badly but my thinking was most people would do both anyway.
Edit- the two DD's Nationwide didn't switch I had to contact company concerned myself and had proof they were active on account I had switched out of with Alliance and Leicester.0 -
Fair enough, keep me posted. I have done all but no confirmation of getting the offer or not. It seems very long time considering I done the NatWest switching one & the money was in the account after 2 days 😅0
