No cashback paid or tracked for me. I did query it back in November to be told ‘It will be paid 31st December’ they didn’t seem to understand the lack of tracking showing either.

Complained today. Turns out they had identified an issue and put a note on my account, never bothered to tell me. But told it will be rectified in a few days. Plus £20 compo

Wondering how unique I am here - anyone else having issues with their new Lloyds Ultra card?

Got the Lloyds Ultra card at the start of November.
After using it around 40 times, 1 month later, the card was declined at Aldi for a piffling amount (under a fiver).  Even though it worked THAT VERY DAY at my dentist for £250 (stage 1 in root canal work) 🧐

Chatted to an agent via the app.  They couldn't explain it, then they blocked the card & pointed me to a phone number 🙄

    Utterly stunned.

Called the Fraud Line (as they would no longer help on chat).
Lady there was very sympathetic, looked into things, couldn't explain it, and offered £20 compensation whilst opening the card back.
    Fine.
Well, not fine, but a fair response.

2 weeks later - this morning - second treatment at my dentist, and the card is declined at the dentist  This time for over £400.   Root canal work ain't cheap 😜

Both places are 15 minutes from my house, bone fide businesses and I cannot see why they would behave like this.

The Fraud Complaints Team are on chat now, telling me it was automatically triggered "by their system".
Oh, & that "Whenever the system detects suspicious activity, such as unusual transactions or changes in location, it immediately alerts you and, if necessary, blocks the card to keep your account secure. This process is in place to protect you from potential fraud or misuse."

The process is protecting me from nothing, and seriously hacking me off 🙄

Anyone else finding Lloyds behaves unlike any other credit card?
I certainly won't be lasting longer than the 1% cashback offer - too stressful using them.

Edit to add - and yes, they have again BLOCKED the card & need me to call the Fraud Team.

Person on the 0800 number telling me it is not them, but a generic "you were using your phone wallet" issue.
Telling me it would work again from tomorrow 🤷‍♂️
    Sigh
Looks like it could be a monthly issue - keep those physical cards near, folks!

    Complaint raised.

You are not unique, well not is this regard anyway. I've only had my ultra credit card for a week and every transaction has been blocked except for 2 one to Asda and the other to my local council car park. The others ranging from a paltry £7.95 to £95 have all been blocked. I've had to call them 3 times and none of the calls has been less then 50 minutes They are always "particularly busy" serving other customers. They are just blaming it on being a new account (even though I've banked with Lloyds for 25 years!) and the fact that they lose a lot of money on fraud. The best they can say is that it probably won't happen in the future unless it is a very unusual transaction. Hmmm...

This is bizarre. I have been a Lloyds CC holder for several years. I recently applied for and was granted a Lloyds Ultra credit card. Therefore I had two cards, both with very similar credit limits, the earlier of which was not of much use to me. I phoned Lloyds, waited about 5 minutes and engaged with a very helpful chap. He asked me how much of the credit limit from the original card I would like transferred to the Ultra and it was done next day.

I then proceeded to book flights, a holiday and several hotels in Canada, all in Canadian dollars using my new Ultra card, a few of which needed authorisation in the app but no problems. There seems to be an inexplainable  difference in the way that Lloyds deals with their customers. Maybe my turn will come.

Has anyone used this card overseas? Is the rate better than likes of Barclaycard, Monzo, Revolut?

Yes; used in France for four days in October. As for the rate… €1.1464 was the highest, €1.1450 was the lowest.

I applied yesterday and application was approved. The card is showing on the app. However I don’t have option to add the card to Apple Pay. How long do you have to wait before card can be added?

Mine was 48hrs and then I could add it to Apple Pay. Didn't have to wait for the physical card to arrive.

I opened an account 3 days ago. I could immediately see all the card details in the app but it would not let me add it to Apple Pay. I used the card details to set up online payments which I have used without problem. I messaged customer support and they said I have to wait for the physical card and then activate it using the pin number before I could use Apple Pay. All the card details have since disappeared from the app! What a palaver!

The card detail shouldn't disappear from the app

Same happened to me. After the application the card details were showing so I have made a note of them. 2 days after the card details disappeared but as I already had a note of it, I manually added the card to Apple Pay without any problems.

Checked again now and card details are showing in the app again. I haven’t received the card yet.

Possibly it’s happening because card is being generated. Try in couple of days hopefully it should work.
