Right pretty much there in terms of dinner, ham needs to be glazed and warmed up. Rice is done just need to sort sauce out. Kale also ready so not bad.
Made another batch of homemade goodies in the bags. Marzipan sweets with whisky and orange peel covered in chocolate. Just tasted one they are sooo nice.
Just about to start wrapping up presents so I can pack 1 suitcase at least before tomorrow.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Well this is it 3 hours until we leave for Denmark. Need to pack clothes and tidy up house but that is it otherwise. Mum just been on the phone with one more thing she would like to get. She is picking us up from the airport so won't have to battle with the trains.
Last night went well, too much food but inlaws took it back with them and now they don't have to cook for a while. Got a duvet cover which I needed and a deoderant. Not the most fantastic presents but fine and practical.
Will try to post in Denmark otherwise have a fantastic Christmas and New Year.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Hi TallGirl
Hope you have a lovely Christmas and New Year in Denmark. I don't post much but I enjoy reading your diary about all your ideas and hard work. One thing that stands out in your diary is how sharing/giving you are as you always suggest/warn people of offers if you can, so thanks for that.

Thanks for all the Merry Christmas wishes sending one to all you guys as it is what I call English Christmas today. I had a lovely Christmas eve yesterday with all my family. The kids were so sweet I think I could actually manage one myself. Just had a quick supper and feeling really tired. Went for a walk and found a new born Calf earlier today. It had run away from its mum and the farmer. We got it back safely and all ended well. Will try to post later hope you have all had a wonderfull Christmas.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Still having a nice time now at my mums waiting for my sister and family to arrive from my dads. We are going to a childrens christmas party at the local village hall the same one I used to go to when I was a child. It is organised by my old math teacher so will be quite nice to see it again. There might even be some of my old school friends there.
I hope everyone enjoy their Christmas and had a relaxing time. I have not thought that much about Money Saving just spending as we got quite a bit of money for Christmas. Spending Danish Money again is quite nice does not feel real. Will get back to serious money saving when we get back which is tomorrow. Strange how quick a holiday ends.
My friend is staying in Singapore so she won't be coming for New Year but we are invited to some friends so can go there which will be nice. Take care allSave £12k in 25 No 49
