    Update on the MB
Got a nice free £50 bet from Bet365 very nice present. Still working on the Sportingbet one but they will not let me bet a lot due to complaining about the bonus.
Missed out on the Icehockey offer on Thursday as I could not log into Partybets and Gamebookers. Anoying that was.

Finally a little dilemma what would you do?
Bought a knife sharpener from a mailorder company paid £34 for it and got cashback from Quidco. I paid £6 postage and although the first item was delivered the knife sharpener did not turn up. I then logged in and saw that it was being shipped on the 30th Nov. I waited and waiting and nothing came so on the 5th Dec I rang them. They said they had a reference number for Royal Mail but she could not get it to work on the website. She was generally unhelpfull and said I had to go to my local postoffice to sort it out. I was not happy about that if they use Royal Mail to ship things it is their problem if they can't trace parcels. They did not have anymore in stock so too late to order another one so I asked for a refund.

I checked my credit card and the refund went in but then the parcel turned up on the 9th Dec 9 days after they posted it. Now would you own up or shall I just keep it?

    Hello all
Back from HQ and so busy with millions of emails from when I was off sick. At least I only have 3 more working days left and that includes today.

Tricky one. Did you have to sign for delivery i.e. is there a record of receipt?

When I phoned them she said they had sent it recorded delivery with Royal Mail but they could not get the tracking number to work and I had to sort it out myself. That is the reason I got annoyed with them. When the parcel arrived it was by normal post so they have no way of knowing that I got it. I have also had a letter from them saying sorry about the overcharging of your account we hope you have had the goods you wanted.

They were obviously 'economical with the truth' when they said it had been sent RD - neither wonder it wouldn't track . Due to this, and her attitude, I'd say keep schtum. Normally I'd tell them but on this occasion I think it's karma ;)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Thanks Gallygirl I do intend to keep the money due to her attitude.

Just updated my signature as lovely Pigsback got me another £30 of John Lewis vouchers which is nice. Also nearly at £750 for Quidco since Sep 07. Might have to start a fresh for 2009 with all of them and start counting MB properly. I must be well over £3k now.

Last working day for me at it is now 10am and I have done nothing productive so far. Need to get to the shops to get a ham for my Danish Christmas dinner tomorrow. It is easier to cook it tonight so it is cool tomorrow to be glazed. Also need to cook ricepudding. This is what we are having

:xmastree: Smoked ham glazed with mustard and brown sugar. Served with caramelised potatoes, boiled potatoes and creamed curly kale.
    For pudding:
:xmastree:Ris A'la Mande, cold rice pudding with whipped cream served with hot cherry sauce.

My inlaws are obsessed with Strictly and that is tomorrow night. I am not going to all this trouble only for them to want to eat in front of the telly. Might have to Sky+ it.

Looked at the money situation and we owe £4000 on the bathroom loan and £14K on the mortgage. I am paying £1000 a month plus whatever interest has been charged so well on track to clear by the end of MFi3. Bathroom loan I pay every now and then. Just looked at my Danish bond money and it has gone back up to 150,000kr which is not as much as it has been was 165,000 but the £ is so low. I think I would get just over £17k if I cashed it in. Soooo tempted as it would clear everything. Mortgage free for 2009 what a thought.
