Thanks Dingling sorry to hear about your bad experiences with Ebay. My seller did offer me £7 refund 2 weeks ago but I have not had it yet so started dispute on Paypal. Not sure it will do any good but really fedup with her. You can't just offer a refund and then not do it how rubbish is that.
Spent ages this morning tidying up my email accounts. I have my work/proper one so unsubscribed to all rubbish now so only get relevant stuff. I also have a dedicated Match Betting email account and I have now asked to have all my bingo account unsibscribed and some closed as well as some pure casino accounts. I do get tempted sometimes when they email offers and don't want to as they are not risk free. Also fedup with the amount of rubbish I get from the bingo sites in particular. Means I miss proper MB offers in all that spam. I also have a rubbish email account for other offers such as pigsback, quidco, greasypalm etc but I have unsubscribed to a load on there too so that should help. Lastly I have one for my DH for "his" MB (all done by me ofcourse) again taken all the bingo account and casino accounts off.
Need to decide what to do about MB, getting a bit bored with it now the offers are not that big anymore. Don't get me wrong £20 is good its just not at cool as when I first started doing it and I could get £200. Still worth doing just need to motivate myself a bit more.
Can't wait to see the update on MFi3 being completed it is looking really good so far. We already have two proper MF people and lots who have already reached their 3 year target early.
Need to do some work so better get off here.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Plan to move to Denmark for FIRE by Autumn 2025 “May your decisions reflect your hopes not your fears”

Right that is it I am now back into MB. Signed up to Gamebookers via a refer a friend and have £56 bonus plus he will pay me £25 and get £25 himself.
That means I have 2 Partybets accounts as well so every time they do a special offer I can do it 3 times. Next step is then to refer DH but will check first if that is allowed. They had an offer to bet £8 on who scored the fastest first goal in the Champions League last night but my bets did not win however I got a full refund. Tonight you can do the same but instead of getting a refund you get £8 to play casino with. I think I might do it although not entirely risk free DH is quite good at getting money out of roulette. Maybe I might even pick the winner which would be nice.
Stan James so a competition most week for £10 free casino chips and I always get it wrong however last weekend I got it right and he turned that £10 into £20 which was nice.
Bit of a funny story I just have to tell you. Booked my hotel last week via Quico and got £3.50 cash back. I paid £70 for a triple room for 1 person incl breakfast so that was fine. When I got there it was totally horrid. Looked like it had not been touched since the 1970's and the people hardly spoke English. It also happened to be in a really really run down part of town. Anyway I had just unpacked when they told me to move rooms and I can tell you the rooms were dirty etc etc (wont go on). I had to order breakfast by phone I they got it totally wrong. You got 1 glass of juice and the cereal was stale.
When I checked out they were not expecting it thought I was staying two nights which is why I paid £70. She told me their usual rate was £46. They promised to refund me the difference and send me an invoice as their computer was down. I need an invoice as the room was paid by company credit card so when I got home I called Laterooms just to ask what I should do. They spoke to the hotel for me and confirmed a refund had been done and I would get the invoice. Well it came Saturday and he has given me the stay on the house. I think that is very nice of them and they did not have to do that. There must have been a problem on Laterooms to charge £70 as they are usually cheaper or the same as a hotels normal rate. Was going to leave them a horrid feedback but for £46 what do you expect. Sorry to ramble on just thought would share it with you.
Today I must write my 3 sales reports they should have been done on Friday. Also have to do my expenses now we have the new company credit card it needs to be on for next week.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Just done a bit of interenet shopping but it was such a bargin I had to have it. JP Parker sells plants blubs etc and I got some stuff of them in the Spring which was really good. Today I got:
25 "Black" Tulips
30 Daffodils
6 Scabiosa
1 Buddleid plant
Total incl postage £7
I think that is a bargin and my garden can now have a bit of colour for the spring plus I can replace my buddleid which only has white flowers. If you want the special offer you need to type in SUB7 in the promotions page to get it to come up. Webside is JP Parker and no I don't work for them but 55 bulbs for £1.10 is a bargin.
Paid off this monts interest on the mortgage £52 and noticed only earned £26 by offsetting this month due to the extra money paid out for the bathrooms. Still not had the final bill so will have to wait and see what the total will be. Quite happy to leave it as money is a bit tight at the moment.
Lots of good MB offers Gamebookers and Partybets are offering £25 on each account and I have 3, problem is I need the funds to do the offers so may have to wait a bit for something else to clear. You only have 20 days to do them in so need to make sure I can do it or I will loose the bonus.
Working from home today and must get those reports written up asap.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Hi TG:hello:
Are there squirrels were you live? If so you will need to protect your bulbs with chicken wire (or something) as the little tykes will just dig them up and eat them. I know this from bitter experience...:rotfl:Four days I spent planting bulbs in 2003 and they little devils ate all of them:rolleyes:

Going to IKEA with my friend to buy her a new bed tomorrow. Actually she is 28 and this will be her first bed as she has always lived in furnished places. I might have to buy a few things for myself will try to resist.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Rigth done IKEA and got my friend a bed but it was quite hard work. It took 45 min to travel the last 5 miles on Purley Way so we did not get there until 4.30pm. Looked at the beds and had a quick drink (50p) before she decided which one she wanted. Wrote all the numbers down and I found what I wanted. My bill came to £12 which I good for me actually and hers only £125 as we had picked up the wrong mattress eventhough it was in the correct place. Forgot to check the sticker so our own fault. Get to the car and starts to load everything in. It starts raining and we quick realise we are not going to get a double mattress and a double metal headboard in my estate VW. I had seen some rope for sale so I volunteered to go back in and get it and at this point my friend cannot find her wallet. She continues to look while I go back into the store. Turns out rope of £7 for 2 length but hey we need it. She still cannot find her wallet but we get the headboard onto the top of my car fast and secure.
Go back into the store and she goes and asks the till if he has seen her wallet. He had it, just hands it to her while he is on the phone. I really could not believe it. It is such a busy place so the chances of that happening must have been next to nothing. Great relief and we finally set off home. Got back at 9.30pm totally shattered. Took my friend back this morning and unloaded everything feel I have done my good deed for today.
Cooking stew in the slowcooker and some Boston Beans from a Nigella recipe. . Should be able to freeze lots of batches got some nice foil containers at Macro yesterday. Done a bit of Matchbetting and finished the reload offer from PartyBets just need to do Gamebookers.
Hope you are all having a good weekend, off to post the chart on MFi3 and I know as soon as I do I get lots of posts saying sorry I missed it. Never mind…

Got all my batch cooking done in the end eventhough it took a lot longer than the receipe. Used £7 worth of braising steak for my stew some potatoes, carrots, onion and peas but got 8 portions out of it with most of that now in the freezer for when I dont want to cook or DH is on his own.
The beans were also cheap although they took 4 hours in the oven so would have been better in the slowcooker I think. I will also freeze those in batches to add to a main meal a bit fed up with potatoes as DH will not eat pasta and only sometimes rice. He is just so fussy like a kid really.
Off to HQ for 2 nights so free dinner etc. However taking the cat for his anual booster later on and that will be expensive as he has a bite where he may need antibiotics. He is a sleep on the bed right now unaware of the trauma he will endure by going in the cat box later on.
Quico has paid out £28 this month with still over £100 to pay out for next month. That means we have over £400 in the holiday savings account and our little trip to see my uncle will not cost that much as I have already taken out the money for the flights. Can't believe we go in 9 days it has come around quickly.
Still plodding along with MB won't sign up to anymore as we will be away. My discount from Betfair dropped to 0% this week so that shows how much I have slowed down.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Morning at the office at HQ secretly typing this. Its a bit mad here and I am having a meeting with my boss and heading down south again. Had a good meeting yesterday and sales are looking good.
So scary reading all the stuff about the banks and the way the government is trying to help. At least we had a rate cut so a bit of good news. My mortgage should come down a bit so glad we started this MFi3 as it is so nice to have such a small mortgage.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Spoke to my mum today as she is still in Denmark and I wanted to hear how they were reporting the Iceland banking crisis. She said their press is certain the money in Iceland was from Rusian billionaires kind of washing it clean via Iceland. My Danish bond has dropped £1000 and my Danish shares are down by 50% to 75% but I don't have that many and I have had them for over 15 years so did not pay that much for them. Mum said to stay put so will do that.
We originally bought £1000 worth of shares in Egg and those are now in Prudential. They are worth about £750 I think so we will leave them were they are.
Of savings we have it mostly offset in Barclays so will benefit from the rate cut as we will be paying 5.35% now on the mortgage. I also have £280 in Cahot which is the foat money my company gave me. Happy to leave that. I am also saving £100 a month in Natwest to get the £50 bonus so that is fine.
Really can't wait to be mortgage free so we can start building up the savings and have ISAs etc again. Will stear clear of shares for the time being.
Went into town today more estate agents have closed down, the odd restaurant and cafe but otherwise I thought the shop were pretty busy. Greggs and our local bakery had people queing out the door. I went to Robert Dyars to get new bathroom scales. Advertised as £12.49 on sale but the till said £19.99. I could not spot they were not the same as on the sales ticket but apparently they were smaller ones. To be fair the manager let me have them for £12.49 without me having to even ask. DH had long left the shop totally embarressed by the whole thing but I think it is fair query if the till says something different.
Doing some matchbetting and may sign up for a new bookie.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Me too, but can't help thinking it would have been better off in offset :mad:DH had long left the shop totally embarressed by the whole thing but I think it is fair query if the till says something different.
Me too, too. Refused to buy chocolate in a shop today as their 3 for £1.20 offer was over but they still had sign up. Pointed out to assistant he was breaking the law, poor boy was mortified
