Thanks Smithills I am really pleased with the bathroom too. Yes those are the live tiles at £190 they should be nice too, the not so money saving bit of the bathroom. Sounds like you have got a bit of a project on is there much work that needs doing it and are you doing it yourself. Good luck with it. I am sure you can lower that 18 years and 3 months quite a bit.

By the way when I got back on Friday he had done quite a bit more so here is picture of the other side of the bathroom. Obviously not quite done as there will be a matching cabitnet over the sink all in mirro.

Right had a fantastic day at the golf yesterday. Really nice day out but totally wacked when we got home as you walk around all day. We did not leave until 8.30am as I had to get a bet on the tennis for a 2 x £50 free bet which was too good to miss really.

Tickets were £25 each so not cheap but that was incl parking and for the whole day. Had breakfast on the way at Littlechef. Dirty plates, order got mixed up eventhough there were only two other people they had to cook for at the time. Really going downhill but DH still likes his cooked breakfast on a day out and to be honest he is so skinny I dont mind.

Followed Thomas Bjorn to start with as he is a Dane and I have always liked him. There was hardly anyone around him so got to see lots of him. Very nice. Sadly he played really badly towards the end and withdrew today so glad I got to see him yesterday. Then wanted to see Soren Hansen but he was playing with Sergio Garsia so could not see a thing. Saw lots of golf but it was so windy at least we did not get wet. They really know how to charge up there, £4 for a beer, £6.50 for a burger etc etc so expensive.

Enter a few free competitions and as I said really enjoyed it.

Inlaws coming later so chilling out. Have done lots of Matchbetting on tennis and golf so following that. Will make a £70 return on the £100 free bet so not too bad more than pays for yesterday.

Getting lots of PMs for the MFi3 so better get on and update the chart.

Really really pleased with it so much nicer so glad we did it. :j :j :j

Everything just went in so quickly yesterday and he is now off on holiday so a week off before he starts the ensuite. Cleaned the whole thing yesterday so it is now gleaming hope to keep it that way. Might have to pay the cleaner a bit extra now.

Just went to take some pictures and the battery was flat so you will have to wait a bit longer.

Got my 2 x £25 free bets from PartyBets from the Wimbledon just need to wager that 4 times and it is mine. Got £10 from Stan James for a faces competition and DH bless him did well with the roulette but it kept crashing so he got so annoyed. I can take out £10 to bet with and he has £1.92 left to play with. Nice free money really.

Signed up with Canbet, £200 bonus but you need to wager £2400 so quite a lot. I am going to deposit before we go on holiday and then I have 30 days to do it in. With the football season starting it should be OK and I can always do a bit in Denmark.

Boss is back today and I don't think I have done as much as she would have liked me too. Just got a text from her it says nothing to display (spookey) I need some more appointments so will have to work hard today. Well only a week and a bit now until the holiday so that should be OK.

Will post some pictures once the battery is back in action.

Oh, TG, it is beautiful :j :j :j

You must be sooo pleased with the way it has turned out - it is very elegant and such a grown up bathroom :T :T

    I have bathroom envy ;)

Good luck with Canbet - I am leaving that level of WR well alone until I am more experienced in this matched betting game - I'm "resting" now till the footie starts again ;)

    Hi TG
More pics- oooh, great! Is that your elbow?!

I'm working on that 18 yrs, 3 months mortgage. I'm just contemplating suspending a wee friendly society policy, due to pay out in 2 years- I could (a) cash in 2 yrs early, or (b) suspend payments, and divert those to my mortgage, and then get paid out in 2 years.

My whole house needs doing- truly a labour of love, but I went into it with my eyes open. At the moment I'm stripping woodchip off a ceiling- with what looks likes brown gloss beneath . But I have just finished my little bedroom- I wallpapered it myself, and it is great (no false modesty here). I was really scared of the wallpaper- £27 a roll in John Lewis. Of course, I didn't pay that much- think I got it for just a squeak under £20, but even so, it was a bit scary when I put up the first piece. I'll be doing most of it myself- I need to find a Tall Boy so he can reach my v tall ceilings hee hee!

Enjoy your holidays- I'm going to have a look at the MB boards, as you seem to have inspired so many other people to have a whirl at it- ta ta!

Thanks for the kind words about the bathroom now I can't wait to get the ensuite finished. I hope it will look just as good.

Smithhills sounds like you have a lot of work to do, woodchip is just the worst to get off. Your bedroom sounds lovely, £27 a roll for wall paper even if you just paid £20 that must have been scary to put up. Any chance of some picture we could make this diary a show place for projects.

As for the policy you are thinking about cashing in or leaving it I find that sort of thing really hard to know. We stopped paying into our endownment quite quickly and changed it to a repayment mortgage but then cashed it in as it had 15 years or so to go. 2 years isn't that long but then no one has a crystal ball and can predict what is going to happen. My bank and brewery shares in Denmark are worth a lot lot less than they were so I wish I had cashed them in but who could have predicted that they would both do badly. Credit Crunch affecting beer?

Matchbetting is good fun, a bit time consuming but once you know where to look it doesn't take that long. Dingling leave Canbet well alone and yes wait until the footie start for the next batch of offer. However I have found that it is not all about signing up to new bookie you can get offers from existing ones. SkyBet, Stan James are good so too are VC so read the board usually someone posts the offers and how to do them.

Got two appointments today and I still need to find a child seat for my sister to take over to Denmark. I got her some baby tights yesterday but the seat she wanted from Argos was sold out. Now she has found another one also from Argos so will have to try to pick that up. I am going to Winchester later on and they have a Long Tall Sally. I really do need some more trousers and as they are the only ones that fit me I shall have to have a look there. I have put on a bit of weight as I am not going to the gym so might have to get the next size up. That is so bad I really must get back into the gym. Not very MSE to pay £34 a month and not use it is it.

Lovely to wake up to sunshine this morning, I just got soaked so many times yesterday.

Had two meetings but managed to get my shopping done for the car seat. £27 in Argos for a Britax one for the nephew so that is one more thing sorted.

Went to Long Tall Sally and they had a sale on. £144 later I had 2 camisoles, a long sleeved top, 2 skirts, yoga pants and 2 pairs of trousers all more or less 1/2 price and stuff I actually needed.

Carpet cleaner is coming in 1 hour so that is £250 down the drain but it really needs doing and it is cheaper than buying new carpets. Hasn't been done for 2 years and with a long haired cat it looks horrid now.

Boss wants to speak to me today so I better crack on with it. Still have a headache had one now for 2 days really not great. Maybe I am coming down with something I hope not.

I am going to cancel golf Sunday as I need some time to sort out for the holdiay. Playing all day Saturday plus party in the evening so that will do.
