Working from home today so should be a no spend day for me. I am going to delete all my bingo sites from my computer. On a positive note Quidco has just tracked £50 for a Casino offer I did a couple of weeks ago just as I put in a query.

Hoping my Money Booker deposit comes into today so I can tranfer it to Victor Chandler. I get 10% in free bets so that would be £60 once the £500 hits my account. Max is £250 but I don't think I will make that.

Tons of emails to answer and work to do so better get on with it.

Still no sign up my MoneyBooker deposit so wont be able to do the VC offer today and sadly I am off to Cornwall tonight. I shall be away for two nights but at least it is to a nice part of the country.

I have finally got my laptop cable back so hopefully I can find somewhere with WIFI can keep up with MSE.

Getting all the PM's for the next MFi3 update, I can't wait to see how well be have all done. I have cleared 56% of my target.

Leaving about 6pm but had lunch with a client so free and is cooking a chicked DH can have for dinner tonight and tomorrow night. I will be on expenses so can have whatever I fancy. Hotel tonight is a golfclub only £34 but I will get there so late it will be dark sadly. I did get 5% cashback with Laterooms and Quidco. Not booked anything for tomorrow night as I don't know if I shall stay in Redruth or Falmouth won't find out until tomorrow.

Just been told I am spending 4 days at HQ for a team meeting and they have booked a lodge at the local golfclub. Oh I really hope someone will be up for a game of golf sadly I am not sure any of them plays.

Bathroom floor is being tiled looking really nice but so different to what we had before.

Need to get on with some work leaving in 2 1/2 hours.

Hi Tallgirl, I do follow your thread but don't often post. I know you look after the MFi3 numbers but I just wanted to let you know how us 2008'ers are doing. I hope bellsbells doesn't mind me stealing her thunder as she does all the hard work collating and posting our numbers but she let us know on her thread earlier that we have just topped the hundred thousand mark, actually it's £110340.92 so far - how fab is that:D (NB, my contribution is only £950 so can't take full credit - I wish:rolleyes: )

Aboutittimetoo thank you for your post that is a nice amount you have paid off on the 2008'er thread. Well done that is amazing. I hope you keep it going I know how hard it is to get people to update once the initial one has been done. Us MFi3 have currently paid off £1.3 million but we have now been going over 1 year. I agree with setmefree2 a big :T to you all.

I am now back from the West Country and actually had a very good trip. Got to speak to some very nice people and picked up a load of information. Also realised that one of the managers is a total golf nut so that is a nice discovery and he wants us to have a round or too. So cool if I could combine business with pleasure.

Off to Croydon today just a quick visit and I might pop into IKEA to see if they have anything nice in store. I do like their food reminds me of home ofcourse. Said to read in the papers yesterday that ILVA is pulling out of the UK. It said flatpack furniture store ILVA is quitting UK. That is totally untrue they sell proper furniture not like IKEA cheap and cheerfull.

Had a text from a very old Danish friend of mine I have known since I was 16. She found the love in her life quite late and has now been married 1 year. She is pregnant due in November. I feel really strange about that as she is the same age as me. Really really odd why I feel this way have not even congratulated her as I would rather call her than text but she is not home at the moment. I do feel happy for her and I think we have made the right decision too about chidlren.

This is getting quite long but I just did not get around to posting while I was away. Actually booked a hotel on lastminute via Quidco sitting in Costacoffe using my 3g card. Very cool and MSE.

    Take care all.

Been shopping today as Mike the Bathroom decided he needed to work today and fancies getting out of the house. We bought DH a Motorola phone in Sainsbury for £50 (£20 free credit) thinking we could get it unlocked but sadly did not find anywhere that could do it. Today we found a man in Portsmouth but as the phone was not fully charges he could not do it hence yet another visit to another market on Monday when it is charged. DH really wants the phone now typically.

However we had to kill some time so went to Gunwharf which is an outlet shopping place. I am totally deperate for new shoes as the only ones that fit my size 7 1/2 are size 41 Ecco. My left foot is size 7 1/2 but the right one is only 7 so if the shop doesn't do 1/2 sizes I can usually forget it.

Another problem is that most of the Ecco shoes in the normal shops are horrid beige granny laceup tupes. I was down to wearning shoes I have had for over 14 years so it was about time I got some. After 15min in Ecco I had found 4 pairs. Total £133 that is about £30 a pair for shoes that cost about £50 normally. Very very happy and shoe crisis over for now. I think I must be the only woman who hates buying shoes I find it quite traumatic unless I can find Ecco's.

Right update on the phone saga which in the end has a happy ending.

After man on the market had messed around with the phone it no longer turned on so I took it back to Sainsbury. A bit naughty I know but they took it back no questions asked and gave me a full refund. Decided to go to Tesco as they had one for £40 a lesser model but a Motorola none the less.

Purchased the phone, bought a £10 top up voucher to get £10 off, wanted to used some vouchers for points and a £8 off £40 tillspill. Disaster till is not working so cant do vouchers or any of the points things. Off to customer services who refunded the lot and added it all on again for a £8 off plus the points.

Got to the phone collection point got the phone turns out we had picked up the wrong CD wallet and the phone was sold out anyway. So annoyed with ourselves for not checking it was the right one to be fair it had been put in the wrong place. Got a full refund of £39.99 so after all of that we had £8 off due to the tillspill and a £10 free top up voucher but no phone.

Went online got the phone off Tesco Direct for £39.99 plus a free £10 top up voucher so not bad really a £40 phone with £20 worth of calls and £8 discount plus Quidco Cashback. A lot of hassle but if the phone comes in on Tuesday as promised it should all work out.

Off to play golf now take care.

Dear lord no - I hate shoe shopping too. I have loads of friends who are like Imelda Marcos, but not me. Hate it. I only own a small number of shoes (for a girl) and every other pair of shoes I buy end up the charity shop cos they are so flippin uncomfortable (even when they seem comfy in the shops)...shoes I just don't get it.:o

 I hate shoe shopping too - I am currently wearing some flats that have had the soles superglued back on :p I also have odd sized feet and the lack of half sizes make it really difficult to find some that fit. I normally bulk buy when I find some eventually to save stress later on.

Glad the phone saga ended successfully TG - one more thing to cross off the list.

It sounds like the bathroom is really coming on a treat now, so look forward to seeing the photos of the finished article soon.

Thanks Setmefree and dingling those comments made me feel better. Glad I am not the only one with odd size feets who hate shoe shopping. I should add that I can't buy anything with heals as I am 6.2.

Having a really rubbish day today feeling very sorry for myself. Played total rubbish golf with 2 other ladies today. One I hardly ever play with as I don't like to play with her but she had put her name down next to mine for the second week running. She really irritates me is always in her own little world without a clue what goes on around her. Well don't get me started but ofcourse she played brilliantly today.

There was a free lunch after the game as it was sponsored by some property company in Cypres. The food was lovely but I had to rush home to phone my friend as she could only speak to me today.

This is who it went (bearing in mind I have not spoken to her for at least 6 months but we have known eachother for 22 years.)

    Me: Hi its Tina
Her: Can I just check the dinner I am cooking wont be a minute.
She comes back after 45 sec or so
Her: Sorry can you call me in 5 min as we need to get the food in the oven.
Me: I can call you later tonight I don't mind what time is best
Her: my husbands friends are coming over so that is no good really
Me: don't worry I can call you some other time
    Me: put the phone down.

I did send her a text saying that I had really looked forward to talking to her but maybe some other time. I just think she was really rude but maybe its just me. That is why I never call her as she
    1. never in as she works shifts and I am scared to wake her up if she is on late nights.
    2. Even when I ask when I can call her she rarely had time to speak.

All a bit sad but she is the only friend I still speak to in Denmark and I would like to keep in touch. It is hard after 14 years of living in the UK to keep old friends.

Well as I said feeling really rubbish so might sign off for now.
