Thanks that was lovely to open my diary and see those we don't really celebrate it but did go out for a meal in a local pub.

Have had a very productive day today went to the bottle bank at 8.45 then supermarket shopping, 10.30 bodypump for 1 hour then gardening.

I got the box with all our garden stuff sorted out so nothing get damaged now was some rusty old things in there that damage the cushions. Moved the lawn, weeded the raised beds, sown some more veg.

Also freecycled (freegled) my old huge TV, some black tiles, a skype phone and now my printer seems to have gone. Also gave a load of books to the book bank so clearing out slowly. Nice to declutter gives more space.

Our friends (the ones expecting in July) came over they had been househunting again. Live in army accommodation but wants to move back here where they used to live. They were our neighbours. They sold in 2007 for £210k (bought in 1996 for £79k but have lived in army accommodation for many years and rented it our for a while so not had to pay much rent. They are now looking at properties in the £400k bracket but will need a mortgage. He has a 2 hour commute each way each day if it was me I would want to move closer. Still they pay hardly any rent and bills now so can save loads.

Anyway we best be off as we are going out mystery shopping, £5 to spend plus £5 fee for buying 2 drinks. Should be nice hopefully lovely evening would be great to sit outside. Going to light the Chimenea later on grilling bananas will go easy on the cream though.

Jack has just jumped onto my table nicked a pencil and raced downstairs with it. DH took it off him and now he has come back and is holding onto my wrist as I type. They are just so cute those two.

Not sure I like the new forum look seems slower to use.

Had a really good weekend such lovely weather the golf was good Sunday and we also went to the in-laws whom we have not seen for ages. A few things still to be picked up by Freeglers so will have a tidy cupboard soon so fed up with the clutter now.

Working from home this morning then off to Reading. Tomorrow is HQ overnight just booked the hotel a nice one for £72 with wifi.

Booked my flights to Denmark too was a bit more than I thought £447 for 2 of us but we can fly directly to where the Summerhouse is (saving a train fare) and home from Copenhagen. We go out from Gatwick and back from Heathrow so hopefully FIL can take us and pick us up.

Only had 2 glasses of wine Saturday and nothing Sunday eventhough MIL tried to get me to have some Sunday. I did have 2 mini magmuns and some cream cakes but I thought I earned those. Will be good now as there is only 10 weeks until we go on holiday and I need to shift that weight pronto.

Take care and enjoy the sun for as long as it may last.

Evening what an idiot I am left the house with just my handbag and laptop and not the suitcase & gym bag. Did not notice until I was 70 miles away so had to go out and buy toiletries and clothes when I got up here. So annoying and now I cannot use the gym. Got some nice tops in TK Max and some cheap underwear in Matalan right next to my HQ office).

Nice hotel but I shall walk out and get dinner burn off some of the chocolate I eaten today (they were Danish ones in TK)

Im off to a meeting in London on Thursday with no other than :money:will be cool might even get to speak to him if I don't end up like a rabbit caught in the headlights.

Martin Lewis was really sweet actually when I saw him. He talked about how shy he is and how he hates meeting 1 to 1 so never do. I thought about talking to him after wards but he was talking to someone else so didn't. He has a team of 30 people working for him and he said they call the forum posters residents who are on here a lot. He did go on about himself and the future of the site quite a bit and I thought he was a bit OTT to be honest. Anyway good to see him.

Got the deeds for the house now so thats sorted.

Also got the report from the IFA looks like pensions are OK where they are but need to look at income protection. If we don't take it out it will be £600 to £800 for the report saying all is well which I am not sure was worth it. It is leatherbound and very nice I must say. Need to read it a bit more carefully.

Plans for the weekend is golf Sunday and Monday and poss Saturday. A bit of gardening but a whole load of chilling out too.

Jessops have canvas photos at 1/2 £17.60 for 12x16 so might have a look to get some done of the kittens. They are growing up fast now Thomas' tail is huge and Jack is catching up.

I wont bore you with Weight stuff as we now have a new thread for that.

You met Martin! I have to say, I'd *love* to hear him talk about himself, his biography here onsite is kind of sparse.... how lovely to hear they call us residents, I like that!

He is very much like he is on telly and it was nice to get a bit more of an insight into him as a person. He says he never set out to be famous and now he is not so sure its really what he wants. He would like the site to be bigger than him and be able to run without him kind of as he is not sure this is what he wants to do for the rest of his life. Then again he said I cannot really just pack it in as it is so enormous now.

This is the 3rd time I have heard him live and I must say I really like him a lot.

Hi Karma looking forward to the big move?
