It was the Glendoral http://www.glendorgalhotel.co.uk/ abosolutely stunning and the food out of this world. Had a nice night out in Truro with some clients managed to see some of the 2nd half of the football what a load of rubbish so thats goodnight Denmark.

Last night I stayed in a BB really really nice and had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for breakfast. I paid £63 + £1.95 visa fee via Lastminute.com and got £6.30 cashback. However the real price is £43 that is quite a mark up and I shall be booking directly in the future. I think this will become my favorite cheap hotel in Truro for now.

Next week is HQ and then down to Exeter hoping to bring my unemployed neighbour with me for company. Would be nice and the shops there are so fab.

Anyway trafic as eased and I need to head off to Dorchester and them home sweet home. Miss the kittens been away far too long now at least its Friday.

So nice to be back home, my plants had suffered a bit I am not sure DH water them quite as much as I do. He said when I asked about dinner that he had withdrawal symptons as we had not been out MS for a whole 10 days. Going to the pub tonight he has been stuck indoors all week so only fair. My partner has pulled out tomorrow so can now chill or should we go to that cat show now there is an idea.

Been so busy since last Saturday time for a quick update.

Saturday: Cat show was fab we met the breeder we got them from and saw their sister. Loads of lovely cats some really big ones and some cute ones that looked just like Thomas. Actually best kitten in show looks like Thomas. Some strange people there it got me when the owners started to wear their cats rosettes. Never mind good day out. Sunday: played golf got home to see the 2nd half of the doomed game. After the game DH said your phone rang earlier only my friend next door did we want to come to a bbq and watch the game. Went over had far too much to drink.

Monday: Ill in bed all day sure I got food poisoning from the left over bbq. Meant to drive up to HQ and stay overnight but could not face it.

Tuesday: 400 mile round trip to attend meeting at HQ a 15 hour long day.

Wednesday a 320 mile round trip to attend a meeting but my friend came with me and we did some shopping in Exeter. M&S had all their England kids wear 70% off so I got loads for my sisters kids. Lovely stuff too and so so cheap. They will love that and I am sorted for presents. Also got two tops for myself of Marks nice stuff they do I never look at the clothes as the long sleeve stuff and the trousers are way too short for me.

Today: working from home - hurray so tired. Woke up at silly o'clock so logged into my MS account and bagged some lovely jobs £40 dinner and £30 lunch for 2. Nice and local too. Sorted my banking out Santander has already taken the first payment for my new savings account but my wages does not go in until next month so I have transferred some money over and will now need to go into branch as I cannot work out how you top the savings account up. Changed the S/O from £25 to the max £250 as its such a good rate.

Playing golf tonight and have a MS ordering a pizza from home so that sorts that out then.

Works do on Friday was really good I to race dragon boats and try Kayaking really good fun. Could not drink as I had to drive and I did not get home until 9pm so was a long day and a 400 mile drive but worth it.

Played golf yesterday and went out MS very nice on at £40 to spend. DH did not want a starter or a dessert so I had to have them both. Ordered a sorbet so at least that was not too bad and only had 1 glass of wine. That makes my wine total this week 3 not bad really actually poured myself a second glass when we got home but did not really enjoy it.

Today lunch MS, need to repot some plants and sort the lawn out. DH just gone to get the papers so really should get dressed and sort breakfast out. Looks like its going to be a lovely day.

Might pop into town have a £5 off at Bodyshop with my reward card and I need some stuff for my feet. Also need to get a few ods and sods for the garden. Will try and do it on my own without DH as he is so impatient. Its my sister birthday today so must remember to call her as the card I posted on Thursday will not have got to her.

MS a total nightmare. Pub had just been taken over looked nothing like a Green King Pub really run down a bit rough. Bought two drinks and got out ofthere really quickly. Shame as we then had to pay for our own lunch shared a ploughman in a posh pub, £10 for 4 thin slices of local cheese, 2 slices of bread and a tiny salad. Some pickle too but not apple or anything else. Rip off.

Got some good bargins in town used my Boots points for some shaving blades and got free foam, got my £5 off a Bodyshop for my card and got some foot stuff in the sale. Chilling out now before cooking dinner.

Sorted the garden out and the repotting.

New week new energy and only 3 weeks till we go to Denmark. My sister got the card I posted to her on Thursday that is a record for the English & Danish postal system. I also know what she would like as a present so that makes life a bit easier plus I found a £15 M&S voucher I had won on my desk when I tidied up this morning so that will help towards that.

Did manage to get to Santander to sort out the transfer into the saving account not sure why I cannot do it online surely all my accounts should show on there but so far its only the current one I can see. Still needs to be done before we go on holiday so that's plenty of time.

Just called up to get my oven cleaned its the job I had the most after de-icing the freezer (luckily the new one is frost free). They were on answerphone hopefully they will call back. Never had it done professionally before but sure its better than doing it yourself and mine is sooooo bad.

Not staying away any night this week which is fab however cannot run any reports as my hard-drive did now get swapped at the fun day. Not sure what to do about it might have to leave it until the 21st its not that long really.

Thinking of going to the gym for the 10.45 class but friend is not going to might go this evening instead and work out. Really want to get back into it. Done well last week only had 5 glasses of wine the whole week but that was after overdoing it on last Sunday.

I don't think your oven was worse than mine - it was so bad I stopped using it until I got a new one.
However, as soon as I got the new one I put an oven liner http://www.lakeland.co.uk/magic-oven-liner/F/product/3318

in it which is really easy to clean, so perhaps you should get one once you have had your oven cleaned.
