All is well and now on the wind down to Christmas. Cat is still spending a lot of time outside and with his belly now shaved it must be freezing in the Snow. Fun having to give him antibiotics but lets hope for the best. Nice not to have to think about putting him down right now.
Not often we have snow here in the south but quite nice to look at and not have to drive somewhere in.
Had a query for my Frankie and Bennie Mystery Shop. It had been refused because there was two kids meals at £0 on the receipt. No we did not take any kids with us as we don't have any. Will make sure the receipt is OK tonight or I will ask them to reprint it. Had no idea that would be a problem.
Quite look forward to going out tonight. Hopefully it will not be too busy and we have to wait too long.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Hello TallGirl, Fingers crossed for Cat's recovery... hope the antibiotics and lots of TLC do the trick,
QB0 -
Cat's doing fine asking for food and a bit more himself so that is so great.
Had a fantastic night last night at the Mystery Shop. BIL decided to treat us to a bottle of Moet which he paid for at the restaurant. Really nice start to the evening. Food was fab and service really good for a busy night. Did not even have to wait for a table.
Came back here and had some more drink. Neighbour got quite drunk and was asking so many personal questions of BIL I thought he was going to loose it. He normally hates talking about himself. He was good as gold though and we learned he has a new German girlfriend who he will spend New Year with so don't feel so guilty about going to Denmark.
Just chilling out a bit now but have sorted the tree and got BIL a present. 1/2 price (real one) and saved £12 on the shirt from Harley Davidson so that was nice. Shopping done and bottles taken to the bottle bank.
And Pompey are currently beating a 10 man Liverpool 1 - 0 life is pretty good. ( quickly presses reply before that changes.)........................Pomey has just scored again......................happy days 2-0 with 8 min to go.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Morning it is 9am and I am still in bed eventhough I should be working from home. Wind down to Christmas is what I say.
Going up to HQ tomorrow at crack of dawn. Got a lovely 4 start hotel on the golf course (the one with the crap food). We are going out after our meeting and Kim can bunk in with so no one needs to drive. Should be nice then the big speech thing at work on the 23rd and off home. Tonight is FIL Masonic Christmas do he wants us to come to. MIght need to dress up poor BIL has no dress up clothes with him let alone shoes so he is off to the shop.
Everything is sorted for Christmas even did the kale yesterday. Then I need to do the rice pudding and boil the ham on the 23rd so not much left to do on the 24th. My friend is coming over early on the 24th so we can have a nice natter and do the final bits. Hopefully make some chocolate too. Had a try with some white chocolate, cream, dried cherries and orange peel. Really nice all eaten now.
Anyway should think about getting up and doing some work, kind of hoping I wont be able to make it to HQ tomorrow morning if we get heavy snow kind of hope to make it too.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Spent a few years in Pompey when I did my Applied Chemistry there; great city and even experienced snow fall for a few days one year - that was very rare and particularly cold! Lasting memories of revising by the seawalls and watching the sea fog roll in through the streets (not in the same day!). I miss the sea but job has me inland.
Best wishes for the holiday and that your cat remains well during this cold spell.0 -

Thanks Stuart and Aboutmetoo.
Cat is ok he is eating more and seems more himself. Still drinking a lot but otherwise fine.
Still no snow here but had snow at HQ and all the way down until about 7 miles from here. Our thing today only lasted till 10am so I got home by 2pm which was a big bonus. Also the leader gave everyone the last 3 hours off so that was nice.
Good trip and no major road problem either way so that was a relief. Just cooking my Danis ham which is over 5 kilo so mega large and will take about 4 hours. Rice pudding is on the sofa wrapped in a blanket and will need about 3 hours. Not too much to do tomorrow so having a nice chilled beer. Hopefully wont have to venture anywhere near a shop tomorrow think I have everything I need or DH can go.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Que? Is it poorly
Glad cat feeling betterA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

No no its the Danish way of cooking it. You bring the milk to the boil add the rice and bring that up to boiling point. Then wrap it up warm and leave it for about 4 horus and its cooked. Easy peasey and wont burn. Also taste lovely and fluffy.Save £12k in 25 No 49
