Thank you @The_Slithy_Tove. I was told that TPS would not discuss individual cases
The issues with an anpr camera like that can be easily fixed with a bin bag placed over the top of the thing.
Could be easily done by an employee either officially or not

Alternatively you could cover your number plate before driving into the car park, and uncover it after driving out.

@Coupon-mad Thank you for advice. I do not park in this TPS-managed car park, so I do not have a parking permit. @James_Poisson I do not have a Nextbase dashcam, but I will see if my dash cam has a feature allowing me to add my numberplate. It is a silly argument from TPS, as you say - since I can demonstrate several videos of my car driving around, getting in and out of my driveway, to prove that I was not parked in the TPS car park.
I have not considered any actions against the ANPR camera itself, but thank you all for your suggestions.

Oh sorry I missed that! However your vehicle uses it so why can't you have a permit like other employees? That would solve the issue.

Thank you @Coupon-mad I don;t understand what you mean about the permit. Our car drops me off, occasionally, at this TPS managed car park. To park in there I need to buy a permit - which I do not need (as I am only being dropped off). TPS would not give me a special permit just to be dropped off, I assume?

Wow, they aren't free? They should be.

Why on earth is your employer agreeing that staff have to pay for a permit to park at work?

Refusing to talk to you, issuing of unjustified invoices where no contractual breach occurred, refusal to whitelist the car - it's almost as if we're talking about a British private parking company who make their money by dishing out demands for payment.

Do you have written confirmation from the landlord that the charges are unauthorised? My only concern is that in any court claim they'd claim it was the landowner's will for you not to drop-off. Because you're going to be racking these up.

But the permit money won't go to the employer.

Have you involved your MP yet? They need to be made aware of all these problems including but not limited to
ANPR scameras being prohibited for use by councils to enforce parking because they are deemed not fit for purpose, and employees being targeted and punished when jobs are on the line.
