You could of course just ignore them and counterclaim if they do make a court claim against you.

@Car1980I was told that TPS would cancel this PCN, but I am still waiting for it

@Half_way @Coupon-mad @Car1980 I am stil waiting for my PCN to be cancelled. In the meantime, I heard from my employer who claims that regular meetings with TPS resulted in 95% accuracy rates for ANPRs, but acknolwedged that such system is not the best (i.e. affected by weatehr conditions). They also told me that dash cams cannot provide reliable evidence and can be contested - as they do not display the registration plate of the vehicle.

But they simply need to insist on a whitelist.

Surely these regular meetings with TPS should be an opportunity for your employer to bring up specific individual cases that need resolving, yours being one of them? No point having meetings that just waffle on in general terms. Check with your employer if they are bringing up YOUR case in the meeting and getting a resolution that is actually followed through.

Thank you @The_Slithy_Tove. I was told that TPS would not discuss individual cases

@Coupon-mad I am not sure I understand what you mean by the whitelist. I do not have parking permit for this car park, unlike other employees - I assume their details are in the whitelist of the number plates that shall not be targeted by ANPRs. In my case, I am just being dropped off and collected from the car park, without exceeding the specified limit (20 mins). However, ANPR does not register our car coming and going. Do you suggest that the whitelist should include our numberplate, for any occasion?

Of course! That's what most professional parking firms do! A staff whitelist is normal for ANPR car parks. Why can't you have a permit for that car?

"I was told that TPS would not discuss individual cases".

UNBELIEVABLE! Flipping heck why hasn't the landowner sacked them yet?

They would say that, I have a Nextbase Dashcam and you just programme your reg into it and it shows on the recording in the corner. Also it has the time on it which would correspond with their ANPR timings, the idiot just spout made up rubbish to suit themselves.
You could also counter back that their ANPR is not approved by anyone it's just a camera on a pole, even police  ANPR is certified as only 95-98% accurate in ideal conditions, this drops to 90-95% in adverse situations.
