Hi did anyone go to Plymouth City Centre Boots this morning? I went at 11am and there was hardly anything left except for some R&Millie sets and those laptop bags with mens smellies. Well done to all those who got loads of stuff.

I would have loved a R&Millie set but Plymouth a bit far away from me! Did any Preston bootsers find R&M sets in sufficient quantities that there might still be some there tomorrow. Blackpool had none at all :(

I think Fort Kinnaird Edinburgh might have cornered the UK market in R&M £50 sets. They had about 100 there this morning.

Damn...I am in Berkshire but visit Fort Kinnaird regularly when I stay with relatives near there. And they had no R&M sets in my local Boots. Should have planned a visit;)

Don't forget reading has 3 stores (sort of).The one in the town centre at the oracle, the one at the medway precinct in tilehurst and the much bigger store at calcot savacentre.
Ditzylips - do you know if the calcot boots has much sale stock ie toys and gift sets? I managed to get someone to look after my little one on Monday and was obviously too early for the sale! I couldn't get in today so having read pcg2001's comments about the Oracle I'm worried I might be too late!
    Thanks

hi did anyone go to the trafford centre today, it was very busy, spent £170 but all in points so very please and order arrived as well so boxes and bags everywhere and no room!!!!

I was there Carol - first thing. Got a load of stuff and then decided to go to Altrincham Broadheath before coming into work. Broadheath was a waste of time -very little stock. May nip back to the Trafford Ctr on my way home - anyone know if there is much left? Thanks

Okay, so this is addictive... but I don't skive often I promise... I updated my gift spreadsheet (don't ask) and realised I was a couple of girly things short.... any excuse... :rotfl:

Went back to Oxford and it was the feeding frenzy! Retail park had been wiped out (this was at 1.30 pm) - I bought a food thing for 3.75 (just for the wine... for meeeeee! - the glasses will go in a hamper) and a smellies gift set for 2.00. They still had the no7 compacts (quite a few) and some wine, campers gift set and some little girls things. Cowley road was wiped out completely. Oxford Centre looked dreadful - the staff were loading extra stuff onto the shelves - mainly men's armoantheraphy and Ted Baker stuff, but most of the food and toys had gone, lots of Bratz stuff though and some high school musical stuff. Lots of no7 reduced, but it is in a box at the bottom of a stand opposite the no7 counter. They did have a lot of those little pretty limited edition compacts (the ones with the art noveau fairies on them) for £4 but I was to shattered to look at them really - plus I couldn't see the eye one, which was the only one I wanted.

Must do some work now, promise... :)

You got fobbed off. Everything would have gone through the till at 75% off.
    Hiya everyone
 Just wondered if someone could confirm this:-
I went to a store first thing and they still had 50% off advertising, and 2 staff members said it was still only 50% off marked price.

I went to a Boots near by and they had advertising saying 75% off and scanned at 75% off.
If I go to this 1st store again, should the till automatically take 75% off ?
    or
can I say that all other stores have reduced stock ?

    Many Thanks.
