Fort Birmingham had very little left this afternoon (1pm onwards). Plenty of Ted Baker stuff, the hat box gifts £6.25 instead of £25.00, some National Trust Stuff, lots of Bart stuff and the red Winter bags and sleighs. Its worth walking up and down all the aisles as there are bits and pieces that have been abandoned by staff and customers.

Managed to find about £40 of things I couldnt do without and even sent hubby to local store and he got me another £9.00 worth just wish I had known what the Magnolia nail care set looked like and he could have bought more.
  • Saw some lovely no7 makeup xmas gifts yesterday....but decided to go to Derby Westfields this morning as it had toys and botanics sets!!! But no No7 makeup :( only lip gloss things and the pack with the massager in...but no one wanted those as there were loads left !!!!

Only had 2 1/2 hours as dd2 is at playgroup in the morning so had to rush back for that. Just about to collect dd1 from school now.

Is it worth a journey to BOT store kitiaracat???? (I literally live half way between burton + Derby)

Well it was for me at 9am Can't say what it will be like now or tomorrow. They did have a lot for not a huge store but yes the shelves were going down quick. There was loads of ted baker stuff left some wine/wine racks and some no.7 gift sets wish i had got another one if not two of the n0.7 compact pallet things as the one i got is for a my sil but i really like it now.

Hi again to any B-O-T MSEr's and to the hot uk dealer who were with me waiting for the store to open. It didn't open till 9 as staff trainning was in process. strange trainning is that learning how to bag all the bargains before the customers lol No not going to moan about this store today well much as thet still wouldn't let me have the highlighter with a gift set or reduced item. ~I still have vouchers to swap one for if anyone wants.

There was so much stock it was un-real and it wasn't really busy still had lots at 11am bet most will be gone by the end of the day

I bought 2 no.7 gifts sets should i have got another one for 3 4 2 or wasn't that on gift sets.

OMG...you didn't have a red coat on did you?

I remembered from the other day & very nearly spoke to a lady with a pink buggy wearing a red coat.......then thought better of it as she might've thought i was quite mad.....:o :o:o

:rotfl: :rotfl: NO but:rotfl: Wouldn't it be funny if you had and she didn't know what you were talking about. decided not to wear it but the SA's still knew me they even said how good my son was not like last week when i was in. that's because his mouth was to full with treats to cry.

I went to Boots Manchester Arndale about 1.30 - it was quite busy and they had quite a lot of stuff but a lot of it was the same. I spent £25.23 (all points) and it should have been £79.98.

    I got:

J Lo Live perfume was £21 now £10.50
Naked gift set was £15 now £3.75
Hackett set was £10 now £2.50
Christmas biscounts was £6.99 now £1.74
Simpons bath set was £5 now £1.25
Homer soap on a rope was £3 now 75p
Bratz perfume set was £11.99 now £2.99
Kim lipgloss set was £7 now £1.75

I'm saving all my points up until next year now so I can get even more pressies in the sales.

Thanks everyone for the heads up :T

  • Went to Douglas Isle of Man Boots today. Spent £44 and saved about £125.

Not much left - but got a Ted Baker bag for hubby and lots of mens gift sets for my hampers this year. Also got some bits for my daughter and any friends parties she will be invited to this year!

Had another Boots delivery as well today - 36 items - cost me £30.95!!! Yehay!

Bought loads from Boots for pressies and next xmas - spent about £120 altogether in the sales but saved about £350!!

Hubby is away for a few days this week - so am going to sort through all my goodies and get his birthday presents wrapped up for next month!!!

Been to the sale in Readign today... I can now understand its allure: the gift sets are LOVELY, all of them, and with 75% its a real bargain!! I got to the store at 10.30 and most of the toys (boots, elc) for young children had gone. Some gifts I had wanted were nowhere to be seen... Does anyone know if they will usually restock?

Are you stocking for next xmas?? Won't the creams and stuff be ruined by then? Or can I safely stock on creams and bath items?

Don't forget reading has 3 stores (sort of).The one in the town centre at the oracle, the one at the medway precinct in tilehurst and the much bigger store at calcot savacentre.
  • Hi did anyone go to Plymouth City Centre Boots this morning? I went at 11am and there was hardly anything left except for some R&Millie sets and those laptop bags with mens smellies. Well done to all those who got loads of stuff.
