  • Oh! shame I didnt think like you, about not needing it!!!..lol.. then maybe I wouldnt have bought soooo much, but im sure it will all come in very handy... I too was looking and thinking where did they get that from and should I go back and look again....
I went to horsham branch year before last (jan 2006), and they had loads of stuff, I also went back again a week or so later, and the still had loads off, they were then reducing things like sets with alcohol in , (vodka whiskey sets)... all down to a £1 and £2... excellent value, as these were originally between £15-£18..... so was worth the trek to horsham, wanted to go today, after clearing the shelves at crawley SUSSEX.....but our car is playing up and we didnt want to chance it just incase we couldnt get home ...maybe its a godsend, as I know i would have filled up another trolley.....

:rotfl: Might pop there after picking up the kids from school or tomorrow as iam half that way .Horsham that is Not Crawley West Sussex :rotfl: :rotfl:

You can get carried away i still have lots of suncream for last years glitch and i gave loads away !!
  • I have to say I am very jealous of everyones bargains but I suppose by being at work I'm moneysaving by not spending anything and tbh theres nothing really that I need from the sales (but I might pop in later just to see if there is anything left)

I agree Scottishlass! I went to the Sheffield one and spent £20 saved over £50 but I tried to be careful not to buy anthing I wouldn't use or be able to give someone. Then reading other people's posts and thinking hmmmm, maybe I hshould have got more. Must remember I don't need it!

Thanks so much to everyone who has posted information and tips on here, it's been really helpful!
  • was anyone in norwich mall one for opening this morning ????

  • Hey all

I was at the Newcastle Eldon Square Boots this morning at 9am. All the staff went in early to get their goodies.

I spent £41 in points, and £32 "real money" ,and came away with a load of goodies. Not many mens smellie sets ths year though, was almost all you could get last year. Loads of Ruby and Millie £50 sets (I got 2 - 1 for me and 1 for a gift) and some decent toys and wine and other things downstairs as well. Quite well stocked, not many things had completely gone. All the SA's were fab as well, all very cheerful and helpful, but then they get staff discount on top as well don't they  .

All in all a good day, got some toys and bits for DD birthday, 4 women sorted for Xmas and 3 toys for DD birthday. The polly pocket race to the mall toy is an excellent gift if anyone is debating it, my DD's really love it, 2 and 8, and at 75% a bargain.

Happy 75% Boots Discount day everyone :T

Can this be renamed as Boots Day?

No need for the sarcasm regarding where crawley is, i wasnt being nasty in any which way just saying, crawley is in sussex, for anyone that might have wanted to have gone there.
