These sales are really mad !! The Richmond store had around 8 baby anabelles for a £10 and alot of bratz dolls too. The sales staff were soooo helpful and would put stuff asside for you to have free hands to shop some more, they also would check out prices for you etc. Really impressed by how friendly they were. Managed to buy lots i needed and lots i didn't ;-)
I was in there at around 9.45am & i was dithering over the baby annabelles but my husband said he thought our daughter wouldn't play with it
I agree about the staff they were excellent, offering to help carry stuff to the tills, price checking etc.“Hope is the only bee that makes honey without flowers.”
Some people only dream of angels, i held one in my arms.
Praying this baby makes it.0 -

I managed to get everything i wanted, including the Baby Annabell, teletubbies aquadraw & ruby and millie set! Spent £50 and got loads of stuff.
I wanted to go back but my kids (or my mum, who i had dragged with me) wouldn't let me. I'm going back tomorrow to pick over the remains like teh Boots vulture i am, lol.
Right, just convinced my friend to pop in tomorrow. Fingers crossed the roads are not flooded in to Glos from the Forest.2013

Here's a quick tip for anyone wanting to get a No7 Highlighter powder using the magazine voucher but without access to reduced price No7 (or not wanting to chance it not working)...
I got a free highlighter using the voucher today by buying a No7 facial buffer thingy for £3.50. The buffer was in a plastic packet on the display with the nail files and tweezers etc. It did not go through the till automatically, (the till beeped), but the SA agreed the voucher states "with any No7 purchase", and as the £3.50 price was not reduced or a special offer that it should have worked, so she went to check and was told to override the till, which she did.
There were also a few other other No7 items on the same display, including a set of nail files with a case for £4, which should also qualify.
Since £3.50 is cheaper than most of the No7 cosmetics, (and, in fact, cheaper than some of the reduced items!), I hope this helps someone

Blackpool fairly busy at 9.30ish. Shelves emptying rapidly but still got a nice selection of presents for people and one or two things for myself.
Netimka - I'll have to trek into Preston to see if I can get those No7 bags for £1.68 -sounds good! They had magazines at Blackpool by the way - near the escalator on one of the upper floors. Also, top floor had reduced No7 makeup, again near the (down) escalator.
When I got home, I sorted everything out and allocated it. It's surprising how many presents you have to buy for family, mothers day, kids' friends etc etc. Took husband with me who got bored after 10 mins but he carried all the heavy bags to the car for me so I'll let him off!0 -

 Now do i rush and try another Boots ?? OH was shocked on how much things cost , even sent MIL in when i got back home :rotfl:
I was the one with the big boots double basket trolley thingy, whatever its called, with my hubby and a little boy in the pushchair....had loads of stuff in the double basket thingy, on top of the pushchair, and also on the floor, you couldnt not remember me!!!!....lol......I think i bought half the shop!!!.....well it felt like it at the time...:beer:0 -
Well, I got to Fort Kinnaird Edinburgh bang on 9am, along with about another dozen ladies. The stuff was flying off the shelves and some ladies had two trolleys each, but there was a lot of good natured banter and laughing and showing each other all the best deals. I spent my entire cache of £54 of points on enough toiletries and girlie birthday presents to see me through this year, plus things like the miniature reading lights and sponge bags for our summer camping holiday. The staff were really nice too and being as helpful as possible about splitting down shops so people could pay for some things with points and the rest with cash etc.
One thing on my list was to get one of the new Barbie Island Princess dolls for £5 (reduced from £20) and they had plenty left, so Young Miss will be happy. (I got one for the birthday present box too.)
I had also been sent on a mission by a working friend to find her TWENTY Island Princess bubble baths. They were reduced to £1.25 each so she wanted them for party presents rather than have to make up twenty party bags. (Wish I'd thought of it first....) so between 9am and my 10am appointment I hit the other three small Boots en route and managed to find them all for her, lol, plus another couple of small sets for me. I do love a challenge! Of course, I used a couple of 100 point for £15 spend vouchers as well during all of this, and came up with another three £5 skin care vouchers, ahem.
This has been a great thread, fun to follow and lots of rewards at the end. Thanks to everyone who participated!!!!! :T
(And I might go back tomorrow......)
don't go away just yet, the boots threads are always great all year round!:heart2::heartpuls:heart2: I WOULD NOT CHANGE MY AUTISTIC DAUGHTER FOR THE WORLD

Got to my local Boots for 9 am this morning, despite crashing rain! Got about £25 of goodies, lots of pressies for teachers and birthdays, and took my haul to the car. Had a quick glance at the receipt and noticed I had paid £3 for the Bratz shower gels which should have been 75p!! I had used points, but STILL! So went back, got that sorted which was no prob and had another look round. No mags at store.
Went to second local store, which is much smaller but they had magazines. And also a few gifts the other store did not have, so spent another £5 or so of points, asked for 2 mags, and went back to store 1.
Got a tanning wipe from the reduced No7 section and a highlighter. SA scanned wipe, had to manually input price I think, scanned highlighter, scanned coupon and I paid 50p. She was impressed, me too!! So went round and did it again.
No £5 skincare vouchers for me though, you don't get them when you pay with your points.
But DO check your receipt to make sure you get the 75% off as it doesn't show on the till as the items are scanned, so it is not obvious what you have paid until you get your printout IYSWIM.
