Got to my local Boots at about 2.45, there wasnt much there but managed to get
Accessorize hat box £25 down to £6.25
No 7 Lip and Eye Shimmers £12 down to £3

So a few bargains, really wanted some Bourjois sets, but there weren't any. Having read all through the last 10 pages no one has mentioned any Bourjois sets, did anyone find any?0 -

Hi - yeah I have been to t he Brighton Boots this morning - got there at 8am when they opened. Got lots of bargains. Went again in my lunch break and they still had a fair amount of stuff but it was going really quickly. Is there anything in particular you were after?0 -
Many thanks to everyone for posting all the info. I'm a new bootser, I got lots of things in the 50% off sale and just got some more today in the 75% sale too. I'm so chuffed, I wouldn't have even known about it if it wasn't for all of you. :j :j :j0

I went to the Harborne one first instead of the Birmingham City Centre one, got some NO 7 lip gloss sets, make up compact and some hair sets thats was good , the city centre one was manic and all toys were back to original price so I was a bit disappointed. But managed to get 4 packs of time delay wipes on 2 vouchers for free :jMiasMommy0

Have spent all day in and around the 6 Boots in my local area, have spent about £100 but have tonnes of stuff for pressies and selling on at a profit at boot fairs.
Just a quick mention about £5 voucher (probably mentioned b4 but thought I would just in case it hasn't) OLAY REGENERIST daily thermal skin polisher - £7.50 so £2.50 with voucher can combine with 300 pts from ACM so 50p profit and if you spend another £2.50 you'll get another voucher.
I know I'm stating the obvious for many but for new bootsers I noticed it wasn't on first page.0 -
Hello Everyone
I have had the first 75% off day and it was FAB!
First of all, my hubby kindly went to Mcr Arndale at 8.30am this morning to get a 'VTECH Smile Pocket' for our sons birthday, which he got for £14.99 instead of £60.
He said there were hardly customers in at that time apart from him, and loads of SAs serving each other with trollies full of bargains, I think hes been converted and can see why I am so obsessed with Boots at last!
Then... I went to Boots Altrincham myself at about 9.30am. I could see I had missed some early morning bargains, which I gazed at enviously whilst queueing to pay, but I still got some varying birthday pressies for the rest of the year and spend £25 and got £126 worth of items.
If the figures look wrong (ie more discount than 75%) that's because the discount wasn't working on the tills (or mine at least) and so the SA was doing her "best guess" which was under what the actual 75% off price should have been.
I also got one item that had no price on it, and they did an ENQ and it came up as £10 so she charged me £2.50 but... I have looked this up in the Xmas Catalogue and it was £20 and the ENQ showed the 50% off price.
And.... Whilst queueing I got chatting to two v friendly MSErs and we were comparing bargains, and they were telling about their online bargains etc. What a friendly bunch everyone on here is.
I also finally managed to get a H&B magazine from Altrincham so I have finally got a No7 highlighter voucher, and I am off to Davyhulme Retail Park to use it on my way home, and also see if they have got anything worth having left there.
Then.... later when my kids are in bed and my hubby is babysitting, I will nip to the Trafford Centre later to see if they still have Underground Ernie trains there.
What a fab day! :beer:Aims for 2014
Drink a glass of water a day, Empty handbag at least once a week, Continue "not putting things off" and tackle things head on, Treasure people around me, Stay healthy and well away from hospitals, Continue to declutter/decorate house slowly and not get stressed because I can't do everything at once.0 -
Was first in queue at Blackpool after travelling since 5.15am and thanks to all posters about this store it was fantastic, saw loads of people with shopping buggies loaded to the brim and then some!!!! What a lot of very nice staff too!! Was quite alot of stuff spread out on three floors, lots of magazines too.
I was a sight with fifteen bags on the train but got so many bargains.
Can anyone advise where I should visit tomorrow? Lancaster or Preston or Manchester...Arndale?
Thanks again Wendie.I wished upon a star tonight that I would see you once more,
To hold you in my arms and tell you how much I love you,
To hear your voice, to kiss your cheek oh for just one more time,
But all I have are memories and a heart full of love and tears.0 -
I spent £22 and got a fair few presents for my stock including national trust address books. This was in Tamworth. they had a few more national trust things but I can't remember what they were sorry.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

Was anyone in Leeds ALbion Street Boots at about 8.30 this morning? I was there - saw loads of people with basketfuls was thinking there must be some mse's here!!:j
They had loads of stuff got some great bargains - but left some toys behind as they were scanning full price - didn't have time to mess around. Think I'm going to go to crown point on the way home see if they have anything different!
What were you wearing? Did you have 2 trolley things with 4 Baskets on?
I was in Leeds this morning at 8.10 am. I spent all my points £155 worth and approx £30 cash - all birthdays, mothers days, fathers days, and xmas sorted for this year apart from big presents for the kiddies.
If I could insert an image I would add a picture of my haul !!!:rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
