Thank you everyone - honestly no wild energy, just trying to pace myself in short bursts. The joys of fibro and chronic fatigue. I did think about outsourcing but I don't want or need someone to have an opinion on what to keep or how to organise it, I just need them to do the physical labour that exhausts me. The decluttering person I contacted last summer wanted £55 per hour!
I am interested in the yarn chat too GP, although it is mainly a last year or so interest.
An enjoyable trip out despite the fog and inevitable business of a weekend afternoon. The coffee shop was close to h0bbycr4ft but I resisted temptation to admire overpriced yarn. I did buy some very expensive blood oranges in M4rks so I hope they are outstanding. I was gifted a huge mooli which both the one who doesn't eat and I like. We generally just have it grated and raw, must check for any other ideas.
Better diet today (waves at KK) which has included actually eating some F&V and an omelette. Vaguely regretting caffeine and will be taking water up to drink after my bath.
Other self care has included rediscovering V05 hot oil which was missing from the market for years but turned up in B00ts last week along with the decent bl1stex lip repair cream in the squeezy tube which had also apparently gone off the market for a while. Hoping the hot oil works wonders for my over dyed hair, and I have always sworn by the cream for winter lips so I am a happy bunny for under £10 of fritter. My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Oh of course - blood orange season! Great reminder, thank you!
I'm also going to echo the reminders to put yourself the top of the priority list. You nred to be in the right shape mentally to move yourself forwards and to continue to cope with the grieving process both for Mr Redo himself and for the loss of the life you expected to have together. That means being kind to yourself just as much as the right nutrition. xx🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thank you everyone - the blood oranges were very good. Attempts at eating properly are predictably mixed but I have actually cooked a few times with an old favourite salmon with a ginger and orange sauce reminding that I don't dislike fish as much as I think I do. (hairy dieters here)
I also used the kenwood and baked a cake, a mary berry lemon drizzle tray bake from fast cakes, which was intended as a 'thank you' for my helper but mostly got eaten by us with coffee, and snaffled by DS1 (alright, would have been better without the lemon though - I was outraged). I will make some coconut macaroons instead and this time parcel them up before the boy spots them.
Luckily I posted my trusted recipe on the forum via my hex2 account back in 2008:
1 egg
3oz sugar
5oz desiccated coconut
Beat together medium sized egg and sugar until mix is light and fluffy. Stir in desiccated coconut and mix well. Line tray with baking parchment and spoon heaped tablespoons onto the tray spacing them a little apart. Bake in pre heated oven 180/GM4 for 10-12 minutes or till lightly golden. Cool on trays. Makes 12.My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Please reinstall universe and reboot+++

House progress is generally good in that you can now see the impact of what we are doing. The windows have made the place so much lighter and brighter, and now that the external damp treatment is complete there is some point to treating painting over the damp stains rather than just bleaching them every so often. The dehumidifers are running when I am home and awake which is helping, and the cold/wet patches on some of the external walls have stopped. We are supposed to be getting a lot of rain tomorrow so it will be interesting to see if anywhere leaks at that point.
The windows still have some fine tuning to be done which is supposed to be happening this week. I am not paying till it is done so I am at least gaining interest in the meantime.
Decluttering and tidying is going really well. 'Point and shift' assistance is tiring but brilliant, and I am motivated to get on in short bursts between visits. There used to have a theory on the flylady thread that what we really needed was someone to come and tut at the house once a week and that is very true for me.
First snowdrops are out, and lots of other lovely winter flowering things which is always a joy. Just from my desk window I can see winter honeysuckle, a desdemonda rose, a daphne, my huge witch hazel and some hellebore. It isn't currently raining so I might just head outside for an hour and see if I can fill a garden waste bin ready for collection tomorrow. My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Very pleased to hear the windows are making such a difference. Hope the tweaking and damp spots get sorted soon and easily.
Do you have an idea in mind for where you would like to move to when you're ready or what sort of thing your next stage might look like?https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase/p1
